TricycleClub
Flush
@wonderpuddle tells nothing but the truth! In for $200, out for $1777 in a $1 single blind game at The Havana Cardroom.
~1500 BBs. But it's probably worth pointing out that the players who typically post these biggest single session wins are also often the biggest long term losers.
Actually, your buy-in was capped at $60 back then. Crazy thing, everyone bet into him, he had the nuts nearly every time.A few (many now?) years ago we had a $1700 cash-out on a $100 buy-in at 0.25/0.50
A very loose player giving away many $$ in big pots, mostly to the same guy. IIRC one of the last pots
was $500 or so
Maybe @krafticus and/or @Chippy McChiperson remember it better
I think my biggest was in for $100, out for $1201 in a $1 single blind game:

@TricycleClub has since broken this biggest win record at the Havana Cardroom.
We were playing dealers choice and I think I played the same way I usually do. I just woke up with good hands in big pots that night. Nothing like having nut hi and nut lo in a pot when the two people to act before you already potted it.any strat used or just played your usual game?

This was probably my biggest win in our $.5/1 home games, in for $300, out for around $1200 I think. I think we’ve had players cash in the $1600 range in our $1/1 Deepstack game. View attachment 660935
A home game is usually considered to be any card game played outside a casino or club. Sometimes people will allow strangers, though mostly it’s people the host knows and Occasionally friend-of-a-friend.Sorry, I'm inexperienced, what does a "home game" consist of? Does this mean close friends / family or strangers and how would that work with inviting, setting up etc? Dealing with such high amounts, can that not lead to bad blood?
Thanks.
.25/.50 that plays like a 2/5. Nice.
