Whats the biggest win you've seen at your home game? (cash game) (8 Viewers)

I don't know the exact amount, but my COVID online .25/.50 game (PLO 8 and Congress (5 Card PLO8) has had several winners in the low 1k range on the night. Biggest probably $1500 I think?

It's slowed down since some of the maniac whales who were bleeding at too quick of a rate started coming infrequently. So our biggest night in the last few months is about $600.

Prior to online, my live game (NLHE/PLO .25/.50) - biggest winner ever was around $500.

Blinds matter a lot less for the swings than stacks x aggressiveness x willingness to rebuy x action games.

I've seen some $7 and $8 pots in our 5c/10c NLHE games. The limit games can get up to $2.50 for a big pot

Last time I hosted a real game (non 5c/10c) maybe $400 for the biggest pot

Someone ran a single $60 buyin to $1200 at my game (.5/1) recently, which included beating my AA all in on the flop with runner runner for the biggest pot ($600 or so) Ive ever played outside a casino.
In other words: one rack of chips worth ;)

This was probably my biggest win in our $.5/1 home games, in for $300, out for around $1200 I think. I think we’ve had players cash in the $1600 range in our $1/1 Deepstack game.

My game is a .25/.50 cash game. Plays more like a 1/1 game in reality, maybe even slightly bigger as the night goes on and the stacks get deep. Biggest cash is just shy of $1200.

I need to find bigger home games! Jeez

My biggest home game in was me in for 25, out for $147. None of my friends like to play for anything more (which is fine, I wouldnt want to ruin their fun), so I dont have many cool stories of winning big at home yet.

Once I move, I plan to host larger games myself. Until then, I'm stuck traveling with my stuff to run events at my friends' houses.

We will see a 1500 to 2000 cash out from time to time, and I once cashed for $2600 on a super heater. Normally 500-800 profit is the average. We play $.25/$.50 and $1/$1 circus depending on the set.

Seen people walk away with £600 - £800 and that's in our 5p/10p game. Seen a couple of pots £300 or £400 plus. Some are re buying for £100 near end of night. 1000 big blinds. It's mental

1000 big blinds!

Gonna see if I can shoot for a night like this in my home game some night, just for the lulz.

I'll have to make it literally penny-ante poker.

One of the guys went in for $20 and out for $115 or so. We don't play big at all. 0.10/0.20 blinds for cash and tournament buy ins are $20 for single buy in deep stack games and $10 for the "standard" T10000 base with rebuys.

We had a +300 at 0.50-0.50 . I have only had 0.50-1 game a couple times and nothing that huge comes to mind.

we do $.25/$.50, $15 buyin. A guy left with $260. If his brother hadn't played in our game for 7 years, we'd have been suspicious to believe that he'd never played poker before. turns out he's a slot and blackjack player. He never raised and never bluffed. HIs brother had to coach him when to show cards, etc. It was like watching Rainman. Crazy night.

Posted this a long time ago: From ~20 years of my home game, biggest cash out at .25/.50 nlhe or mixed with max buy-in of 200bb was ~$1525.

In that time, there were only three cash outs over $1K.

I host .25/.50 $100 max NLHE live games, no stack matching. I recall personally being up or down $400 and change a couple times, but I don't ever remember anyone breaking the $500 mark in either direction.

Not that amazing but In for $50 last October at a meet up in a $.25/$.50 game and out for $486.

Not long ago in VA @Seeking Alpha Social Club I bought in for $50 in a $.50/$1 sitting next to @Rbonus012 I was in a bad spot in the BB with 68 of clubs playing NLHE... the flop was 257 all clubs, they let me limp in... now first to act I shoved for around $40 knowing what I was probably up against. I was called by the guy with the non suited A of clubs. Of course it came on the river... I bought back in for $20 and ran it up to $280 ish in about 2 hours.

I'm sure Kevin has some amazing run it up stories though! He also had a very nice profitable evening, the threat of heavy snow cut the game short that evening though

I can't speak accurately to the size of the biggest win in the current cash game I play in. The larger cash-outs are between $500 to $1000 net.

In the home game I use to host we had a player go on a run at the .25/.50 cash table after taking first place in our two table $45 tournament. He won a big three way all-in PLO pot and got paid with quad kings in NLHE, cashing out with $700 on a single $40 buy-in IIRC. I think he banked around $1000 that night.

Yeah I know.

Man, if I could find players like you and @MatB locally, I'd be putting out top shelf whiskey and Filet Mignon hot dogs to get them here!
When you have players who's nicknames are "Benmo", "Sticky Nicky", and Joey "Money" you know that someone is cashing out big that night.

Was at a 25¢/50¢ dc game this past weekend. Biggest stack cashed out for ~$1200. But he was in for like $900 lol.

I'm new to this game so I'm still getting to know the players.

But apparently one of the regulars usually only shows up with about $100 but typically ends up losing $600-$700 each night because he borrows money ($100 at a time) from other players throughout the night.

I had one player at our .50/1 game two years ago that absolutely ran through the table, 9 handed. Was hitting everything, sucking out, hitting one outers as the underdog. Bought in for $60, cashed out for $850.
