Finally got to work on my own. Just an updated version of my last run in time for my new THC tourney set. BTW we are already over 500 and I haven’t gotten through all of the submissions yet. We will be good to go here.

Looks great!

Here’s my attempt at a Mill Town cut card.

Historical photo on one side - the old paper mill circa 1920.

Please doublecheck my count below (also PM to remove your project name if you want it private). Also, at this point please let me know if you have a project intended but have not submitted the order yet so that I can put you on the list and continue to follow up. The intended deadline is Monday November 9th to submit your order. If we finalize all orders prior to that date we can move ahead but can also wait a couple days extra if needed.

I am waiting on artwork from J5 and fully intend to submit for this round. I will follow up with him today on that. Thanks!

I'm waiting on artwork from Quicksilver-75

Project name is The Nuts - Poker. Might have two different versions. Will likely be 40-50 total cut cards. More if I use both versions.

Does this have anything to do with SRV?
Absolutely! I'm a huge music fan, and SRV is one of my favorites. But there is a lot more to the story, so probably not what you are thinking. If you care, I did put together this thread when I was first starting down the design path.

And thanks for the reminder! I needed to update the thread with a few current pics, which I just added.

Oh wow! How did I miss that thread. You're right about not what I was thinking (see my avatar lol). PM me if you have extras, love some samples

Quick question for the group. Portrait or Landscape? Which is most common?

For me, my logo is a perfect circle. I just had the idea to put it in portrait orientation on one side, and landscape on the other. Any reason why I should or shouldn't do that?

I personally prefer portrait because the cards are portrait orientation. And looking at what we have so far in this group buy it seems like the slight favorite as well. But it’s totally personal preference.

I’m leaning toward portrait as well. Here is what Steve made for me, including the fun one, which is growing on me. He’s going to put Ray-Bans on the squirrel to see what it looks like.

Horseshoe Pesta 1895; waiting for the artwork in .ai format.
30 poker-sized cut cards.

Devil's advocate on the cards being portrait - you CUT the cards onto the cut card in landscape. Unless you're a weirdo.

Have a lot of irons in the fire, so just curious - is there a general timeline for these? Are we looking at before Christmas time? Or is this more of a 2021 type deal?
