You inspired me!Here are a few themes I haven't seen on any custom sets:
- Iron Chefs
Bebop you say???@nauseant Cowboy Bebop would be cool too
Maybe a “Star Trek Hotties” theme?I was exploring a Star Trek themed set, but then all my friends laughed at me.
Not bad, but I have to have Jeri Ryan on every chip. Maybe a little Gates McFadden. And Olivia d'Abo. And Chase Masterson. OK, this could work.Maybe a “Star Trek Hotties” theme?
Another weird, niche theme I put together on the design tool forever ago and actually really like, and is still in consideration for me when I get the budget to order my first CPCs. Doesn't follow any traditional colors which I sort of enjoy, and I love the idea of the birthday cake $100 (though it'd never see play at my .25/.25 home game lol)

Even threw together this inlay design as a little idea trial, with each inlay's ice cream cone color matched to the chip's colors. But I think if I did these, something more traditional/old fashioned would be better suited to the theme.

That would work, but the largest denom could be no larger than 25¢I think a solids set, with a different flavor of Maruchan Ramen noodles on each chip, could be rather impressive.

To name single episode actresses, but to skip Famke Janssen - Kamala from A Perfect Mate, but better known to fans of this forum as Petra from Rounders - is an egregious oversight. Not bad, but I have to have Jeri Ryan on every chip. Micro stakes no doubtThat would work, but the largest denom could be no larger than 25¢
That was a weird episode for me. I should have liked it, but I didn’t. Although I enjoyed the Ferengi at their comedic foil best.To name single episode actresses, but to skip Famke Janssen - Kamala from A Perfect Mate, but better known to fans of this forum as Petra from Rounders - is an egregious oversight.
There's actually a boardgame. It's quite good. Covers a lot of the color spectrum you'd need for 5 or 6 chip denominations. Bob Ross: Art of CHILL.Bob Ross. I'm sure you could find a painting for every color.
Oh trust me, I know. There's also one called "Happy Little Accidents". I have them both. And the jigsaw (x2). And the chia pet (x2). And the breath mints. And the...... you get the idea. There's actually a boardgame.
heres a mockup that i had stored away i have i think 5 different versions from this set. they would be relabels but im close to putting this set in motion. weve been huge fans since aussie in like 03. View attachment 989202
Looks like “surfs up” big wavesA number of years ago, when the C&S group buy was underway, I toyed with a James Bond gun barrel concept. I was still very early in the design concept before I ditched the project, but this thread seems like a good place to dump it, in case anyone could grab a seed of inspiration from the idea.

I used a pic of the original GB are to drop in my concepts. These are not meant to be dual-sided with "Big League Games", the B-Side would probably used the Casino Royal logo on the bottom right (without the gun barrel).
Like I said, it was very early in the concept. This still kind of shows how chaotic the design process is.
I can't un-see that now.Looks like “surfs up” big waves
I think it’s the shading on the barrel. It just looks like wave froth at the peak and bottom. Maybe it it was reversed so the “wave” was backward it might not jump out.I can't un-see that now.
I actually lifted the art from one of the movies. Little known bit of trivia, they used different gun barrels on different movie sequences.I think it’s the shading on the barrel. It just looks like wave froth at the peak and bottom. Maybe it it was reversed so the “wave” was backward it might not jump out.
Man the Hamburglar was creepy and I never noticed it before as a kid but the Fry Guys are Pac-Man ghosts on acidAs a 70's kid, every time I see them, I see poker chip potential with those colors!
