I'd pay the shipping cost for another mat that's rectangular  but I'm fine with any resolution (I love these mats)

I've already got a rectangular one, so I'm actually glad that the new one coming is oval. I really don't need two and only bought this one to help hit the numbers, so I may end up selling the one I like less.

I heard back. I proposed that they replace the toppers and they basically said I need to get a number of mats to be replaced before the boss would approve it or not. I guess they might be willing to replace a certain number of mats but not all.

We'd still have to pay shipping from China and then re-shipping to you. I don't want to discourage anyone from getting what they were expecting but the shipping costs might be a factor.

I'm going to add a poll to this thread get a number for replacements. Only votes from those who were in GB #3 will be counted so please don't vote if you were not in GB #3. I will leave the poll open for 3 days.

Once I get the number, I'll pass it along and see what they say.

Do we have to send current one back?

I messed up the poll. I will add it again in a min.

Is my understanding correct that the company that messed up the pattern, that they just manufactured the toppers, and you had to coordinate separate shipping from source to destination?

Therefore, even if they reprinted all of them for free, the China to US ($25+) and topper to chipper ($20+) shipping fees would still need to be paid per mat?

Edit: Was trying to clear it up for me - that the company wouldn't have any possibility in rebating some of the shipping costs?
Thanks @Tommy - I see your response below.

No, the manufacturer ships them. They may or may not make the replacement mats free of charge. I need to get them a hard number of replacements. Then they will decide if they will. I would have liked them to say, "yes we will remake all the mats and ship them to you free of charge" but unfortunately they are not.

Yes, all shipping fees would have to be paid again.

What would the shipping total be for a replacement? Are we looking at around $40 for a topper?

$20 plus re-shipping to you. There is no guarantee yet they will remake the toppers for free.

$20 plus re-shipping to you.

Actually if could be more than $20 from China because we don't know what the QTY will be. Between a rock and a hard place because if the QTY is too high they may not make the replacements. :banghead:

@Tommy not to be difficult but maybe you should have a third option of I would like it replaced but don’t need it replaced. Only thinking of the quantity for shipping. They might say no to x but yes to y. Also would allow for you to maybe not have to do buy #4 with excess replacements. :)

Yes I can live with mine and could go either way so whatever is good for the group works for me!

I bought three - two for non-PCFers who I recommended that the rectangular PCF mat was superior. For me, I’d like my vote to count for two - I’m ok with my personal one being wrong if there is a limit to the number of replacements.

Would they live with partial/full refunds for those who don’t want to pay another $50 for the product they ordered? Not trying to be difficult but it seemed like most people who voiced their opinion here preferred a refund/partial refund. Maybe adding that as a 3rd option would give a better idea to the consensus?

they should already have offered to redo the entire order and ship to Tommy at no cost to us. we all paid for something and they f*cked up.

Yea. Not sure how the company can basically say "Just accept what we sent you."??? What if the mats were square but with the wrong logo? Would folks here be OK with that? I mean, you have a poker mat right? Who cares if it's not exactly what you ordered. It's close enough. If you want really want the one you ordered, then fork out another $40. Not blaming @Tommy for this fuckup, but also not happy with any of the resolutions offered so far.
