Its harder than I thought it would be to create decent looking designs that don't require edge spot alignments.

I’m in the same boat. It’s a good constraint to have though. Allows for breaking away from the “clay ceramic wannabes”. That looks really interesting. Post more!

Here is a new vision and inlay's. Probably too much purple. I think I will pull out the purple on the one and the 25 so it skips every other chip.

I like where this is going. Because it’s Tron inspired, try putting something different from the movie just above the off grid text on each chip. I.e. a disc on one, bit on another, light cycle, tank, recognizer, etc. that would however probably put it into the realm of Gear labels as Sun Fly wouldn’t likely manufacture chips with those on them

But seriously, these are going to have some kind of UV ink on them, right? RIGHT???

I mean...because if these don't glow in the dark somehow...I just don't know man...

Have you tried it without the white in the middle of the bright lines? It looks more like a neon tube and a bit dated - works for Happy Days but not Tron in my mind. I like this look:

Have you considered an edge pattern that doesn’t mimic edge spots? Take advantage of the ceramic opportunity.

I think the first single chip posted looks great and very Tron like.

When I looked at the full set in the second picture my first thought was this:

Yea I don't think all black base for every chip is ever a good option even though in Tron its mostly dark.

Here are some modifications and edge spot options.

The more I think about it, the more I like the black chips. The Valentino from Apolon are mostly white, so why not mostly black?

I know this is your design and I hope you don't mind me playing but I just think the whole concept is cool!

All black base does look cool. It's a cash set isnt that againt the rules? Another issue is design look vs chip print.

I’d worry a little about the white ring of wear on them.
I think that's only an issue for casino chips which see a huge amount of use. I would expect that a quality ceramic chip won't see any wear with home game use.

They're your chips so you make the rules!

I wonder how much it would be for UV. Black would make designing it much easier.

What rules?

Even with a printed black base on the chip face, the rolling edge can be any color and/or design. Should be easy enough to distinguish between denominations using the face neon colors.
