I have great respect for everyone that runs group buys because just shipping out a few dealer buttons to some friends is enough to give me a headache.

But honestly, the right way to approach this is to probably just buy the ring and distribute the cost amongst the chips.

That's a great question... I would assume since it was paid for by the GB, then whoever sends in the invoice would own it.

I don't think it would become something that anyone would use. And then you get into issues like future GBs wanting to use it with owner permission, etc.

I think a lot would need to be researched and we'd need to get some things in writing from Matsui.

Really? If we paid them to produce a specific ring, then they would retain the rights to use it? So we'd be funding everybody else in the world who wants to use it?

I also really don't know how long an injection molded ring will last, but I have to imagine they get a lot of use out of it before needing to produce another.

We're not talking about a custom name ring here - it's a denomination. Some of the denominations we have access to now are thanks to others paying for the mold.

Matsui told me that if I bought the ring, I could say who could and could not use it (although in practice, I would think that would be impossible to enforce).

I think I going to omit D & E from my choices due to $1 & $25 being blue and purple, that will not be color-blind friendly as a lot of my male relatives and myself are color blind of some degree

I be using Tourney as my Cash Set since $ or no $ didn't really matter that much to me.
