I'm not a huge fan of either team, so whoever wins will not affect me much. Just calling them as I see them.

I mean if you hate the Bruins (which is fine), a new roster won't change your mind I know but the team has significantly changed from the days of Claude Julien and before. They're not a physical smash-them-into-the-ice team anymore and while the Blues are the brute team in this match up is doesn't excuse late hits after every third whistle this series.

And yes we do have a rat on our team and I get all the hate he gets but for us, he's our rat.

It wasn't physical hockey that caused that one though. Maybe it's not a good sample of Boston fans, but I've been visiting the Bruins subreddit to get their perspective on the series and see if Chara was going to play, etc., and that place was just a cesspool of whining about the mean Blues and their terrible fans with no interesting discussion.

Maybe if the Bruins quit putting themselves in bad positions, they wouldn't get hit in the head so much. When Schenn hit Nordstrom last night, Nordstrom looked over his shoulder first and saw him coming and put himself in perfect position to get his head smashed into the glass and draw the call. Yeah, you're supposed to ease up and not hit the guy when you see numbers, but that shouldn't give the players free reign to not protect themselves and put themselves in a bad spot in order to draw penalties. I agree with the kid flipping the bird to Nordstrom in the first post. Both suspensions were from Bruins being in stupid spots and bent over and getting hit in the head. The Blues aren't out there throwing flying elbows or leaving their feet to target the head.

Somebody photoshopped the Bruins fan flipping the bird at the end of Game 5 with Bret Hull giving the finger back to him, but I can't find it now. It was pretty great.

didn't say they were (despite them showing clips of multiple blues behind the back elbowing chara in the face towards his jaw) I said they were checking after the whistle, re-watch the game and you'll see it

I'm a Bruins fan and one of my best friends is a Blues fan. I've been having a good time trolling him. He's convinced himself it's over.

The Bruins are absolutely the dirtiest team in the league though and it isn't even close. Marchand is a troll and Chara is a 7 foot monster on skates. None of that matters when they win Weds.
