Hi Guys I thought I'd have a go at some mock ups in a Sin City favour, it's nothing to do with the film or Vegas
really. I'd want these to be on a "1 textured inlay & I'm open to all suggestions & thoughts. I think my personal
favourite is the brown 10 which I wasn't going to include at first & I tried to progress the spots as much as possible.

When you've finished designing a chip, click on it and select "Save as New". Do this for each chip and then you can save this set and save it as a PNG image for posting.

Re: the transition from 1 to 5 - you already have Red as a spot color on the 1, then you use it again on the 5. Furthermore, you use it on the 5 in a way that's somewhat questionable - using a red spot on a red base always makes me raise an eye. If you haven't yet, be sure to get color samples and really study those colors carefully. Otherwise it could be a waste of a spot.

Why the B mold for this set?

Also, as an aside, you say you want a textured inlay, but that's not really a choice you get to make. All inlays save for those on the FDL mold will come out with some level of texture. You can, of course, choose the size, but I'm a bit fuzzy there. You say you want a 1" inlay, but the size you have depicted is 7/8". If you bump it to 1", on some of the chips the inlay will likely spill into the B's and diamonds.

That was the concern on these. "B" mold wants a 7/8" inlay but I wanted the inlay background color to touch the spots. I also did not want the inner ring to distort the text.
These ended up being 1-1/16" inlay with artwork reduced to stay inside the ring. I know this was a pain for CPC because the inlay would try to slide around on top of the ring.
Truly superb work by @Johnny5 and @David Spragg

I chose the 'B' mold cause I'd prefer a "1 inlay as the 'A' mold doesn't does it? Errr...I don't like the idea of heavy
spot use because when stacked the spots hide most of the main color, if you catch my drift?

Anyways thanks for you opinion;

As stated in your other thread, any size inlay can be used on any mold except 44mm chips... they can only accept 7/8" inlays. However choose your inlay size wisely as per @Psypher1000's advice.

You can definitely use a 1" inlay on the A mold.

Keeping your spots to a minimum is fine - totally understand that. My concern with a red spot on a red base is that the spot almost becomes indiscernable from the base. On the one hand, you're certainly accomplishing your goal of not detracting from the base color by doing that. On the other, you're paying for a spot that's hard to see.

If you're looking for minimal spot use, why not go with 314 on the lower denoms and 414 on the 1 and 5?

Okay I got it, I might switch to 'A' mold, by the way...when can I post in the classified section, there's a
casino chip I'm after?

Hello again...I just noticed in my mock ups you said "why on the 'B' mold"?

Well is that a bad choice? I've noticed the 'A' mold is used a lot, is that to keep costs down?
