Are you far enough north for 24hr sunlight?

I've been up to Inuvik, NWT (inside the arctic circle) in the summer. It looked like noon at 3am. Kids were out playing.
 
Awesome pictures, amazing shots! We have cousins in Soldotna...favorite relatives to visit, without a doubt.
 
With AK's permission, I 'll post the first snow (scandalously late) for this year on the mountains surrounding Yannina, the provincial capital of my beloved region Epirus

The surviving minaret is reminiscent of the city's Ottoman occupation from 1431 to 1913.
The population remained overwhelmingly Greek Orthodox Christian throughout the centuries.
The Ottomans referred to Yannina as a "gaur" (infidel=christian) city
Edit: at any rate, enjoy the lake (surprisingly NOT frozen at this time of year)
 
I worked up there about 15 years ago. I was always surprised how long those moose legs are. They can be very tall!
