Cool, ill watch for a bit
Thank you for knocking that blowhard out. Man she is annoying.
Just turned it in and saw
him knock out Kathy Lieberman, he's crushing! Very cool!!
Edit: No need for spoiler I see.
Mike is now at 4M chips and retook the chip lead (barely) at the feature table!
End of day 5, 89 players left. Mike is 21st in chips with 5.45M.
I have been spending family time so I hadn't been able to check the standing much, but saw Mike just posted on FB that he doubled up to 9.75M!!! He had AA and got it all in preflop vs QQ. An A on the flop all but ended it.
Currently 12th in chips with 57 left
Such a dream, good luck to him. Gogogogogo.
Down to 36 players. Mike is still in it, but short stacked. He was the shortest stack for a short time but is up to 6.3m
The pay bump just went to $216k!!
How does this work now... does play continue until they drop to 9?
They are in break now, I don't know when they will stop play for the night. I don't see them getting to 9 tonight though. I assume they will do that tomorrow.
Then the final table coverage will be this weekend.
Day six just ended about a 1/2 hour ago. Such long days!!!
Mike got some doubles ups, got lucky with AQ vs AK all in preflop.
He is 13th in chips now with 27 left!!
I've been checking in on the WSOP website every few hours for the last 4 days. It's been a fun, but the WSOP chip count updates are mind numbingly slow.
I tuned in for a bit... I was taken aback by how much Kathy Lieberman talks... They were focusing on play (in a hand she wasn't in) and behind the announcers, all you could hear was her yapping... non-fucking stop!
I believe Day 6 plays down to 27 and Day 7 plays down to 9. Then the final table (aka Day 8).
EDIT: Confirmed. From the structure sheet:
Right in the middle of the remaining pack...
The guy leading the last lap of Indy never wins... 13th in chips seems like just about the right place to take it down.
This is pretty cool - there was one of the frequent CT posters that was a friend of Riess in 2013 as well.
Lets take it down (again!)
Drawing a seat with a big stack to your left can be a good thing...
22 left. Looks like Krasienko has dumped about 4m in chips... He is currently in 18th with about 7.7m chips.
He is now at 17.9M chips and in 9th place!!! Still 22 left
I don't know Mike, but I'm pulling for him!
Looks like he's 6th in chips currently at over 20 million
8th with 19 left. He's at 20.2M.
You sure about that?
Big pay bump from 19th to 18th, guaranteed 340K now
It's might be a born somewhere "from" vs. lives somewhere now "from". At Chambers Bay for the US Open we were standing behind Ryan Moore and the starter announced him as "...from Las Vegas, Nevada..." because he lives there but he was born in Tacoma. I yelled "He meant to say from TACOMA, WASHINGTON!" and the crowd went nuts, Ryan turned around and smiled and waved to the crowd then his caddie tossed me a ball. So yeah, I'm pretty much on the tour now.
We have all been bitching about that!!!
He is a Clevelander for sure. He mostly playes Poker out of Pittsburg.
Hope you've got a %age or 2...
He has been playing his 'A' game, since being just under $4 million; now at $21,500,000.
Only 3 Americans in the top 10 at this time.
6th in chips, 18 to go.
Wouldve been so sick if you could have gotten him to use one of your clubhouse chips as a card protector.
Dude is in the process of living the dream and is being a beast, can't imagine how it must feel. Gogogogogo!
