My friend and local pro made another deep run in WSOP (1 Viewer)

I have been spending family time so I hadn't been able to check the standing much, but saw Mike just posted on FB that he doubled up to 9.75M!!! He had AA and got it all in preflop vs QQ. An A on the flop all but ended it.

Currently 12th in chips with 57 left

Such a dream, good luck to him. Gogogogogo.

They are in break now, I don't know when they will stop play for the night. I don't see them getting to 9 tonight though. I assume they will do that tomorrow.

Then the final table coverage will be this weekend.

I've been checking in on the WSOP website every few hours for the last 4 days. It's been a fun, but the WSOP chip count updates are mind numbingly slow.

Mike,

Thank you for knocking that blowhard out. Man she is annoying.

I tuned in for a bit... I was taken aback by how much Kathy Lieberman talks... They were focusing on play (in a hand she wasn't in) and behind the announcers, all you could hear was her yapping... non-fucking stop!

How does this work now... does play continue until they drop to 9?

I believe Day 6 plays down to 27 and Day 7 plays down to 9. Then the final table (aka Day 8).

EDIT: Confirmed. From the structure sheet:

July 18 & 19: No table play for final 9 players.
ESPN interviews and tapings will be scheduled for all remaining players.

Day 8: Thursday, July 20, 2017
5:30 p.m. Cards in the Air (All Play Live on ESPN2)

SO SICK!

You sure about that?

It's might be a born somewhere "from" vs. lives somewhere now "from". At Chambers Bay for the US Open we were standing behind Ryan Moore and the starter announced him as "...from Las Vegas, Nevada..." because he lives there but he was born in Tacoma. I yelled "He meant to say from TACOMA, WASHINGTON!" and the crowd went nuts, Ryan turned around and smiled and waved to the crowd then his caddie tossed me a ball. So yeah, I'm pretty much on the tour now. :D

He has been playing his 'A' game, since being just under $4 million; now at $21,500,000.

Only 3 Americans in the top 10 at this time.

We have all been bitching about that!!!
He is a Clevelander for sure. He mostly playes Poker out of Pittsburg.

Wouldve been so sick if you could have gotten him to use one of your clubhouse chips as a card protector.

Dude is in the process of living the dream and is being a beast, can't imagine how it must feel. Gogogogogo!
