Now that the above @Ray-Col renders have whetted your appetite, here are the particulars of the sample order:

Canadian & US Shipments: $16 USD (tracking included for US shipments only)
International Shipments: $13 USD + shipping to your country (PM your address first for a quote)
Local Pickup: $16.50 CAD

Please use PayPal's Friends & Family option and include your PCF username only in the comments. Do not use the PCF acronym in the comments as that apparently raises red flags with PayPal. Once you've sent your payment, please PM your shipping address via this forum as soon as possible so that I can start prepping the mailers ahead of time.

Thanks for your interest!

I bought a 550 piece set of the Championship Poker Series last year because I wanted something resembling the WSOP Main Event chips and as close to clay as possible. The thing is... they stink! I knew this when I bought the samples (along with numerous other China Clay samples), and I thought it wouldn't be that big a deal, but I think my nose is just a little more sensitive when it comes to 550 of them. So be on the lookout for these in the Classifieds in the coming weeks. ;)

Prior to designing my PoCo After Dark customs, I had toyed with the idea of the higher denominations of the WSOP Main Event Chips, but I really don't like the T25K chip and CPC doesn't have a colour close to the T100K chip. Then I saw the secondaries of those chips used in the Millionaire Maker event:

Okay, so I realize that these aren't the Main Event chips, but that's okay because they can be my Main Event chips. :D I didn't know what to put in place of the Rio logo, and then I remembered that just a few miles from my house is the POCO Inn & Suites Hotel:

Although they have a horse head in their branding I decided against the HHR mould as I'm not paying tribute to this hotel, and instead paying tribute to WSOP chips. As I already have a custom set on the FDL mould, I decided to use the other Paulson-like mould... the Jockey. I contacted @Ray-Col for help in evaluating colours as I waited for my new colour samples from CPC. I then contacted @ttttubby for the inlay design as I noticed he had done the design for the Big League Games of Poker GB. He also helped me decide between DG Tiger and DG Peach for the T5K chip with this Blaze Orange thread. I was trying to keep this a secret from everyone, but the ideas and suggestions being raised in the WSOP CC GB thread were hitting too close to my set. I didn't want people to think I was stealing their ideas and so I posted a mockup in the Proofs thread... only to learn later that the GB was killed off... Anyway, here is @ttttubby's proof:

There are still pieces to this I've left out, but it's been a long day and so I'm going to bed. A big thank you to @Ray-Col because you didn't yet have the Jockey mould available in your rendering process nor did you have a 300 piece case. And then to top if off, you staged those rack and special stack renders as though I shot them in my house... very clever!(y) Also a big thank you to @ttttubby for designing the inlay and putting that sneaky poll together to help me get the Blaze Orange right. Both of you are solid dudes!

I'd love to have a sample. Would rather pay in CAD than USD, though. How much should I send in CAD for a sample shipped within Canada?

What mold is that? Are these CPCs?

In for a sample please. Same as Grant, local p/u and I'll pay in cash please.

Would love to get a sample set if possible.

Jlmk.

James

I had a horse named Poco once upon a time...

I'd love a sample set as well if possible. Hmmm, I'm not usually out in Coquitlam, so it's probably just as cheap to have you ship them.

Thanks!

Also interested if there is still a set left. These are beautiful!
