Which better approximates Blaze Orange?

DG Peach?

or

DG Tiger?

If you've got samples of all three colors, feel free to give us a pic and show them together.

Blaze orange.... not blazer orange. Cmon man!

Are your CPC samples current? That peach looks rather dull.
The DG Peach sample is about 18 months old, but that particular sample very closely matches recently produced chips. My DG Tiger sample chip does *not* match very well which is why I used the Atlantic Club DG Tiger chip. All that being said, it's hard for an iPhone camera & most monitors to accurately capture/depict bright, fluorescent colors accurately. @Ray-Col will confirm as much. The forum software can also potentially strip out some of the fidelity of the photo when downsizing it. Regardless, compared to the loud, fluorescent radiance of Blaze Orange, nearly anything would look dull whether in photo or real life.

Well...neither are a good match, but dg tiger is closer (and pops more than the dg peach when not next to the blaze orange).

Blaze orange is lighter and brighter than both CPCs.

Left to right: peach, blaze orange, tiger

When I was getting my custom set made, Ray provided renders for me as well, and what I saw on my screen was pretty well close to what was in my hands (except for the DG colours as my old sample set is about as old as yours).

Just got my new samples so this is why I was asking:

This thread is a perfect example of why you need to get samples. All three of the post with pic comparisons look totally different on my iPad.

Exactly...

Lol at people who plan and orde customs without samples. Once I got my samples, I made tons of revisions to a set I thought was locked in...

I've found that when a perfect match isn't available the next best thing is to approximate the impression of what you're going for. I think the dg tiger is brighter and better gets the feel of blaze orange and in the absence of actual blaze orange better approximates the wow factor. At least that is my sense from the pics. But I don't have a sample of it in hand to get a real sense of things. Those who've posted pics let me know if that sounds right from your eyeball impressions

DG tiger is speyctacular in person, and rarely do I see pics that do ot justice. Similar to Blaze in that regard

In fact, most of the DG colours have greatly improved since my initial sample set purchase a year and a half ago. I was not expecting the DG Arc Yellow and DG Tiger spots on my T500 to be as bright as they are. In normal lighting, the other chips hold their own in terms of pop/contrast, but in very minimal lighting conditions, those DG spots pop as though they are powered from within... it's really quite something to see.
