Just a few more days (June 2) until the preference listing is closed.

After that, I will be compiling the requests and making suggestions for compromises. Start thinking about what you can live with... recall, the goal was one of each denom assuming enough interest. It appears at this time, there is enough interest in a nickel, dime, and quarter... but the names will be the compromise... unless someone is willing to cover the entire die cost for their preferred.

As of right now, it looks like:
Silver Shoe 5c
Red's Tavern 10c
and the 25c is up in the air... the highest qty is Moe's Tavern, but that is a single purchaser.

My goal is to post the order thread by the end of next week. That means we need to come to a consensus on which hotstamps are being ordered.

Also, it looks like our potential quantity is enough to initiate the installation of the Jockey Mold... and @David Spragg has indicated they are looking for orders... so this could happen relatively quickly.

The artwork will not deviate substantially from what has been posted previously. The comments regarding fonts will be implemented. The artwork will be posted next week. I intend to create the order thread on June 12.

The selection above leaves some people out. We can certainly add a second hotstamp for a given denomination. Specifically if the one person interested in that hotstamp is willing to cover the entire cost of that die (~$80 estimate). The cost will be shared if anyone decides to also order that stamp.

@TheBigTater , @ceramicmike , @upNdown , @RowdyRawhide , @detroitdad , @David O Please chime in on how the results affect your purchase. Perhaps agreement on a second stamp can be had.

Additionally, is anyone other than @Joe E. interested in Moe's Tavern 25c? If not, he is stuck with the entire die cost (though I'm pretty likely to get a rack of those too).

What portion of the ~$80 die cost are you willing to pay for the El Rancho (or ANY name of your choosing)? I can have the simple artwork (like Red's or Silver Shoe) done easily.

I would love to have a quarter but I to don't really want to have a Simpson theme (Moe's) chip. No offence to @Joe E or others that wish to have Moe's Tavern stamp. I would prefer that a the nickle & quarter match

I really like the Silver Shoe name/theme especially with the Jockey Mold. I'm still interested in a rack (or more?) of 10c and maybe a rack of 5c.

And if the names are set as

Silver Shoe 5c
Red's Tavern 10c
Moe's Tavern 25c

then ideally I'd like to see

5c - Silver Shoe , purple/lavendar, silver hot stamp
10c - Red's Tavern ( rather see Lounge, Place, or something besides Tavern, but it won't stop me from getting them ), orange/butterscotch/yellow, gold hot stamp
25c - no opinion since I'm not planning on getting any ( yet )

That being said, I'm not in love with any of the names and could easily be convinced to go another direction with them. I'm more concerned with the colors of the chip. I want them to look good with yet contrast the current chip colors in my cash set. I have a PCA set with Lt. Blue 25c (relabeled) and Pink 50c fracs currently.

Yea, I know I probably don't need all these fracs, but...

The beauty of this order is you get to pick your colors... Doesn't matter what anyone else wants. As long as you order 100 or more, they can be any color... So figure out what you want.

Oh?!?! I did not realize that. Thought we had to standardize on the exact chip name/denomination/color for each. So as long as I'm OK with the name/denomination, the chip color is whatever I want. Awesome! Does that also apply for the hot stamp color? Gold vs. Silver? Is that also my choice or is that part of the dye consideration? Not a huge deal either way, just wondering.

Regarding gold foil vs silver foil. I am not sure. My assumption is you can pick whichever you want... But there may be an additional slight fee for the changeover. I will have an answer for that before we commit to the orders.

I have confirmed with @David Spragg, there will be a slight fee associated with changing the foil color. Very likely the same as the die change.

Also, David re-iterated that we won't have final costs worked out until after the order is placed. He will process the order and determine how many die changes are necessary etc. At that time, we will have a final price.

When I create the order thread, I will have everyone add $10 for die changes. This $10 will be credited towards the shipping of your purchase if a die change was not necessary.

@Joe E. It is seeming like the other members that were interested in quarters are bowing out for various reasons. It is plausible that you may be the only one to order Moe's quarters. If that is the case, are you okay covering the die charge yourself (estimated $80)? It is also plausible that once the order thread goes up, multiple people pile on.. the die charge will be divided equally on a per chip basis. Just keeping you informed.

Thanks for the heads up. Was there another casino/club name that got more interest for a $.25? As much as I like the Moe's Tavern idea, not sure I love it enough for the die charge solo. If it was a solo venture, I might be more likely to recreate a Joe's Club chip for the quarter.

There was interest in ~200 two-bit quarters and ~120 Silver Shoe quarters. Of those, I know the @TheBigTater is backing out of the quarters. Not sure if @RowdyRawhide or @detroitdad would come back if the name changed to Two Bit Saloon. I'll let them chime in. Would you be interested in Two Bit 25c chips if you were able to share the die charge?

While I am usually game to pitch in and help get a group buy/project done, I am not really that interested in 2 bit quarters. Trying to get excited about them to facilitate a purchase but not finding much enthusiasm or need. I guess if there is a last minute flood of desire for them I could get on board, but to be the main driver (or even 50% split) on the die charge is less than appealing.

I've considered it numerous times, just haven't been able to fit it in (time & money wise) with all my other projects going on. I really like the Silver Shoe theme & I'd love to fill out the set and do $1's $5's & $20/$25's at some point.

I did some basic early draft color/spot mockups some time ago but never really followed through or revisited them.
