Donkwoods Mockup (1 Viewer)

Poker chips are like women - you have to go with one you love.

then trade it in for a better one

or keep them both, though it is going to start costing you a bunch of money in the long run.

I prefer the ones with big stacks, and let me play with them.

Here are the latest mockups. I really like how they turned out, but looking at them, the donkey side looks almost unnatural. I'm tempted to remove the denomination completely from the donkey side. Are there are any examples out there of custom chips or even casino Paulsons that only have a denom on one side?

I know practicality isnt an issue. After the first 5 mins using the chips at the table, people will know which chip is which denom, so that isnt the biggest concern.

Have J5 mock it up

agreed with nomad - i would be pretty surprised to see a contemporary non-commemorative chip from a vegas casino only put the denom on one side. there are tons of old school hot stamped chips that had the denom on only one side and of course all the crest and seals, but those were obviously before modern concerns like gaming control commissions and video surveillance.

i think you'll find a lot more customs with single-sided denom placement. i used it for my clermont cash chips to emulate the old crest and seal look.

Those Clermont Lounge chips are amazing. Nice work. Being from Atlanta, i can really appreciate these. They look in great condition, so clearly Blondie has not had a hold of these (sorry for the Atlanta joke, but if you have ever been to Clermont Lounge, Blondie is a woman that can never quite be removed from your memory).

Jack I need to get you down here for a S@P. The Clermont Lounge chips would make for an epic guest set

i don't think i'll make the shootout unfortunately, but i will be making it down to ATL sometime soon for a visit. already have it in my to-do list to drop you a line to see if you have a game going.

Maybe not this year but I hold out hope for the future!

They look great. I'll throw in my 2¢ for what it's worth. LOVE side A, also love the donkeys but agree with it looking a bit off compared to the other side, but I think just having the donkey will make it even more so. Would you be willing to try removing the denom completely, centering the donkey and having Donkwoods curved around the top and Poker Room on the bottom?

Just a thought.
