If you haven't seen the other thread, go check it out for the setup. We ended up playing for about 3 1/2 hours and had a ton of fun. Lot of action on the board with a couple fun all in's. Had a 72o shove all in from the small blind to try and get the 72o bounty to then get called by pocket aces in the big blind, 72o flopped and open ender but couldn't cash. Out of the 8 people, only had 1 no-show which was good in my eyes. There was $165 on the table to start and we ended up with $255. Lot of good hands throughout the night including my first straight flush with 6-10 clubs Poker table and chips worked out great so thank you to everyone and especially @merkong for all the help. Ton's of fun, look forward to next week.

Looks like a good time. I'd recommend getting a few new plastic decks (there are many threads discussing people's favorites). If nothing else they won't disintegrate when a Busch Lite is inevitably spilled.
Hahaha thats funny. Also a good idea. Do they get wreaked with bad shufflers? My buddies love to bend the crap out of cards when its their turn to shuffle and deal.

Plastic cards cost more per deck but last much longer. You can generally bend them back if someone is a bad shuffler (I guess it depends how bad they are).

Hahaha sounds good. Found that thread you were talking about. My local casino uses Copag cards and I enjoy them so I might as well. Thank you.

Awesome recap. Next time, take more pictures of the chips on the table for us degenerates.

It sounds like you have a fun group.

I would personally chat with the player that no showed. Be friendly with the conversation, but let him/her know that his actions affects the entire table. THe main reason to chat with his is to let him know it isn't great etiquette. We understand life shit happens, a simple text shouldn't be to difficult.

Good luck on your future hosting dates. My next game is APR 20th. I can't wait!

COPAG's are a huge upgrade over the paper cards that you've been using. I'd recommend Desjn's though. They are similar to COPAG's but don't slide around as much when shuffling & they don't have an unpleasant odor like COPAG's do.

That would be awesome! I will totally take you up on that thank you!!!! I will post a photo of us using the deck!

If I have a small flat rate box, I will ship in the next few days. Otherwise, it may have to wait for a week or so.
