So here we go again. After talking to few members here it is clear that there is interest in some generic utility buttons. Namely an "All In / Kill" button and small and big blind buttons. I was going to do something on a ceramic blank but being generic it doesn't have any real "pop".
So what if we used MSK and their round Jeton type chips? They look FaWeSoMe. They are perfect in every way for the application and offer a much nicer end result. I've already reached out to the company so if it looks like this is something that can go, it'll go quite fast.

I was thinking the 60mm or 51mm for the All In and maybe the 40mm or 45mm for small and big?

Not to dissuade you or others but if generic is what they are after why not reach out to Unique? I believe someone (@justsomedude) posted their catalog with buttons.

At this point I'm just spitballing. I've dealt with MSK a few times so I know their rodeo. But I'm open for anything new....

Shit, that's probably going into the out of context thread, too..

I’m cool with any design as long as it’s bright and stands out on the table.

Yes. This is the biggest thing for me as well. I don't want anything on the table that will be confused as a chip. I think the pearlescent look they offer would make a rather boring chip that much more special.

So what colors would the people like to see used with each?

All In - Yellow
Kill - Red
Small blind - white
Big Blind - Blue?

Any other buttons? Maybe rabbit jetons for those individuals that insist on slowing games? :meh:

Roxana from Matsui could probably get you some Lammers. The dealer button was cheaper than unique.

I'd definitely prefer the extra heft of a heavy 60 ceramic button over lightweight MSK plaques or jetons for ALL-IN buttons.

Typically brighter colors on ceramics too, and they stack out of the way without sliding around when not in use. Also cost is far less (likely half as much), although that's not an overriding concern for a small-quantity item.

A large, heavy, bright yellow button with bright large red text is my preference -- can't miss it on the felt, and won't get confused with any chips (or plaques, or jetons) already in play.

Also interested in an "All In" button. The Poker Stars triangle kinda sets the bar there...

Just wondered, do people actually use "small blind" & "big blind" buttons? Obviously somebody uses them because I see a lot of sets that have them but I've never seen them used in a game anywhere. I've seen a "missed blind" lamer used in a casino before but never a "small blind" or "big blind" button.

I think that’s what most people are talking about (missed buttons).

I think I remember the Borgada at Atlantic City used the small/big lamers.

Interested in ALL IN, and Maybe a KILL button, depending on what they look like. Could be interested if they were Missed Big Blind and Missed Small Blind buttons/lammers.

That's what I use them for. Big Blind means you missed the BB, and likely the small blind. Small Blind means you missed just a SB.

That's a good point - that would definitely work. I had previously seen these, which is why I was thinking the word "Missed" on the lammer. But I could be interested in the Small/Large Blind buttons being made now.

For example:

Yeah i understand the Missed Blind buttons are for when a player misses the blinds, seen them used many times before..... but what do people use the buttons that just say Small Blind & Big Blind for?

Newbies use those to show where the blinds are, pass left every time with the button... Or so I assumed.
