In all seriousness though, my favourite threads/posts are anything relating to colour, design, anything that inspires creativity. e.g.

Post mockups for fun/science?
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/post-mockups-for-fun-science.8283/

Best color combination
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/best-color-combination.16665/

Paulson Color Verification Chart
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/paulson-color-verification-chart.23228/

So when @Tommy posted the Fantasy Chip Design Tool was live again, all the Paulson's I had been designing in my head could finally make it to the screen...... lol.

"The Beginners Guide To Mapping Out A Cash Game Chip Set - 5c/10c to $5/$10"
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...ut-a-cash-game-chip-set-5c-10c-to-5-10.30897/

As a n00b, this thread above all else really helped me understand how my poker game should be run. It also provided me the starting thoughts necessary to make the right decisions on how to think about my chips as I go about constructing my set. It's been super helpful for me to 'stay the course' on some impulse purchases and I hope it's helped fellow newcomers when I link this over to them.

Out! The ESPT chips aren't my style, and I wouldn't want to deprive someone else of a shot at them. But this is an awesome idea (and yet another wonderful gesture from Krish), so here's my "entry" anyway:

Initial post from "Double Star chips from U.S. Poker Chips, pre WWII", thread started by @DrStrange
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...rom-u-s-poker-chips-pre-wwii.7002/#post-77607

When I was first reading up about poker chips because I thought "hey, I should buy some nice ones, I wonder what's available" and stumbled across PCF, that post by the good Doctor introduced me to the idea of vintage chips, which in turn kindled an interest in collecting rather than just purchasing. Doc's enthusiasm for something so unique and interesting really made an impression. And so, everything I've done since then (fifteen sets and counting!) can be traced back to that one post. I would not otherwise be a part of this hobby.

The moment I found my pipe dream, I showed my wife, the glory, the pentacle of PCF and chipping. I went into a bit of the history, and the likely-ness of achieving such a set in this condition. Then she asked, the question, I scrolled up ever so slightly to show the value, crushing my dreams she just laughed, whole heartedly, not to be mean or joking.

Whats not to love here? Scotch, bourbon, and conversation. Not to mention this thread has been a long standing one here on PCF.

Talk about going down the rabbit hole……….

For me it's this post, because it reminded me of how foolish and naïve I was when I first joined PCF, thinking why don't we just remake TRK's that way we can just make those chips for the home market. And then I saw this graph and realized, I have no idea what the fuck this means. And then I realized why these things are so rare, and then I became a crack addict. As you can see, very steep downhill slope here.

P.S. - still foolish and naïve

You’re on the list? I just went through our PMs, and they’re all so friendly and civil. I actually thought you left the site, because I hadn’t heard from you in a while hahaha. Why would you be on my asshat list ffs?
Oooh, I can answer this one! Because he’s an asshat!

Stumbled across this sentence, and it opened up a whole new world to me. Not going to have the money for the highest of high end paulaons with the crazy colors. But plastics can certainly help scratch that itch, and I had completely written them off as I could not stand the slide. Now they have a valuable place in my collection. Will never be a full replacement, but did send me down a whole additional rabbit hole, and I appreciate what I've gotten out of them while assembling a thc set

In! Just happened a little while ago, courtesy of @Ben8257 One of the nicest gestures I’ve experienced recently and means more than he realizes. If I win, I’d like the chips to go to him.

Far too kind my Friend! I try to allow newer chippers to take advantage of Krish's awesome generosity. Just got done watching a video from @Okku about opening another one of @Windwalker giveaways and it was true enjoyment to see the gift Krish was able to give to someone that would otherwise not likely have an opportunity to own awesome chips.

Kind gestures paid forward, that is exactly what it was like when I joined and was the beneficiary of several to help me get going.

Love the format of this one Krish!! I am not IN but enjoying following along! My "collecting days" are winding down, this would just make me tempted to build another set! Lol

@wonderpuddle that photo is definitely a memorable one, wish we could have been there, I miss ole Nistha, hopefully he makes his way back when life calms down a little!

Best of Luck to everyone!!

Probably the most moving, meaningful and inspirational threads on the whole site. This one is relevant to me because I am a Shriner and love to hear the success stories and more especially great to see a fellow community member's family helped by our organization.

I hesitated to show these but these three threads are the most relevant and most meaningful thread for me. These three threads really show what community is all about. I felt the love when I was completely heartbroken and lost and really needed it the most!!!
