Hello all I play home games with a bunch of people who don't really care what kinda chips or cards we play with

Poker Size / Jumbo Index

I am the one who brings the nice Chips & Cards and alot of times these Cards get destroyed and yeah its not the end of the world buy it does start to add up

so my question is what are the Best Cheap Plastic Cards out there I don't want to keep ruining $10-$15 decks

thanks in advance

How are they getting ruined? Cartumundis are often pretty cheap on Amazon. Some of the more expensive dice decks are less prone to issues interestingly.
sometimes chips in the cards where you can't use the deck anymore

sometimes a drunk might spill something on it like a mix drink with Juice and stain the card

we like to use Poker Size Jumbo I dont mind Bridge size Jumbo but never really use Standard Index the table is 8 x 4ft and usually everyone is drinking so I like the index as big as possible

yeah I got some of them WSOP cards from 2012 just sucks we dont really ever use standard index I just bought them cause they were so cheap lol 14 decks was like $40 or something

I bought abunch of them Cartamundi Decks here but alot of people dont like using Bridge Size they say they are too hard to shuffle I dont have Shaq hands so I am ok with them

Fournier wsop on eBay
Link for OP to a 4 setup (8 decks) listing for $9.97 + tax and $8.75 shipping, under $2.50 a deck. OP, they are used but barely, basically new, and kinda neat that they were actually played at the 2012 WSOP. With 4 setups, 1 can act as backup if cards from the other setups get marked or chipped or whatever.

The 12 setup (+2 bonus setup) listing is currently at regular price of $80 + tax/shipping, but sometimes drops down to $24, keep an eye out.

More info in this thread.

Edit:

Just sucks they are not Jumbo Index that is a crazy deal though I got some of the 2012s from this dude on eBay a while back he still sells them very nice guy

I guess you already have those! :)

Other potential options: Cheapskate Cards Shootout. I like the look of the Slowplays, and they're poker/jumbo!

Start Collecting card fund from them to buy quality card if they keep getting destroy in game.

I used to bulk buy a whole lot of cheap Copag jumbo index deck from China at like about $2 usd each wholesale price, I always use them in another weekend game where it make up of friend and friend of friend. I just give them away after couple session to anyone who want to bring back home since they get dirty easily and the ink will fade after few sessions

I only use better $10-15 deck for my personnel home games nowsaday

I am fond of Modiano cards. I have others but both the 100% plastic and acetate (better) are my two favorites above all others. Single decks can be found from $6US to $10CAN. The biggest issue with wear is the surface of play, if playing direct on a wood table you will scratch your cards and the faces with wear in as little as 1-3 games. I recommend a felt/poker surface or at least a thick table cloth (with underpad if possible) when playing and using nice plastics. Otherwise if on a wood table i'd honestly just break out the last of the paper cards left over till they are all burned as the wear will wreck either deck pretty fast.
Straitpokersupplies has a good deal on 12 decks of green/brown Modiano 100% plastics currently ~13CAN/setup

We have a really nice 8×4 poker table with speed felt it was home made very nice though we all chipped in and got it for $350 so we play on a nice table

On that type of surface i'd expect to get btw 3-12 games out of a 2 deck set up depending on if food/beverages are served during play. even at that I have washed cards that became sticky and have reused them with no issue. I have a couple of set up that have played at least 20 games. they have scratches on the face surfaces but are still very playable.

Just don't buy Really Cheap plastic cards....I bought a bunch of Royals for ~$2/deck in 2005....Only 1 deck has ever been opened they are garbage and will only ever be used for seating cards or target practice. If anyone would like some Blue Royal decks they are free for the cost of shipping at least 3 unopened 2xblue set ups avail.

Well I would use the word suck. They cost less and than third party plastic cards and are better. Yes there are better cards out there.

Second this, not sure about durability bc I haven't own them for long, but it's definitely cellulose acetate. Are all cellulose acetate cards made a like and possible to bow and brittle? Cartamundi Casino is good too with slightly more flex than WSOP 2012

I think the Fourniers are 100% PVC plastic. If they were cellulose acetate after 9 years of being stored in those WSOP cardboard boxes, I think they would have warped/bowed or cracked like I've seen KEMs do (unless they were in a climate controlled environment, but the seller on eBay says he keeps and sorts the cards in his basement).

Hahaha I meant to say they're definitely NOT cellulose acetate.

not sure if u do like this, but if you have the same brand of cards you don‘t need to replace a deck because of single dammaged card. Just use the deck as replacement for the next deck.

Best deck quality / price ratio you propobly get from Modiano Platinium and you can easily buy them in USA.
DalNegro are great cards and relatively cheap but harder to buy outside Europe.

Just find decent cards like Bicycle Prestige (made in Spain is a must).
Buying anywhere else means you spend twice as much for shipping.

You may want to wait for group buy on PCF if not in hurry.

And because I am Polish I recommend Trefl (great cards for mony spent) but you won't find them in USA.

I was thinking about asking the table if we just raked $1 out of every pot and put it towards good cards then we would be all good

again I dont mind buying the cards but when people don't care cause they didnt spend money on them it's unreal

I know what you mean. I used KEM but after sometime downgraded to Cartamundi Casino just to save myself irritation

$1 per pot is way too much, you will collect like 60-100 per session depending on how many hours you playing.

We collect the money from Hourly Bomb Pot instead, you will get just enough to collect the deck money and they can take back the used card in return.
