Just got Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered, and I’m forced to sit at home with my foot up for 2 weeks after a post-surgical infection.
See y’all sometime in May!
20+ hours into Blue Prince. It still feels like I have a lot to uncover. I have rolled the credits, but that is hardly the end. I've never really given a ton of thought to what my favorite video game of all time is, but this one is making a run at the title.
i enjoyed it for a while, rolled the credits, but realized that is maybe 15% of the game. i don't have the time or patience to work through the rest, but i've been watching a streamer play it in the background. pretty brilliant game design.
made me want to scratch the ouzzle itch so i'm playing lorelei and the laser eye now. pretty cool so far, about 33% in.
This year had been pretty great for games so far. Split Fiction, Blue Price, and Expedition 33. I've heard Kingdom Come 2 is good too. And here's to hoping Mario Kart World and Metroid Prime 4 are excellent.

It's an older game. I played either it or X3, I can't recall.
It was pretty cool, lots of options on being a bounty hunter, trader, opening space mining operations, etc
You could also build and equip your own fleet of ships, but I remember they weren't very competemt on their own, so all the credits invested could be at risk
Ultimately, it was a cool diversion, but overall felt there wasn't a ton to keep me invested in the gameworld.
Similar to Bethesda games like Fallout, there would be interesting one-off set pieces, the desire to explore just one more system, etc.
But in the end it all wound up feeling hollow/shallow for me.
