My resolution, many years ago, was to never have a new year’s resolution again. IMO/IME for myself, I’m either ready and disciplined enough to make a change or not. Making a resolution on its own to try to make a lifestyle change just because it’s a new year seems pointless.
Along what @RichMahogany said, this is my to do list:
No more caffeine.
Stop being in pain (stay on top of my PT exercises).
Get back to my beer league hockey team and play more golf.
Give my wife and kids the best life they can possibly have.
Walk Dex (my dog) every single day, no matter what.
Just because the planet I live on completed a full orbit around its parent star isn't enough motivation to change something in me.
