In my opinion, site cross-pollination is bad when it may result in spreading unrest. My $0.02 contribution on the topic is that is is wisest not to argue when you can’t influence the other party. In that situation, I’d rather quietly move on and be happy, rather than showing that I’m right. People know you, Jeff, and some ban isn’t going to cast any aspersions on your true character.

I choose to not watch the other channel, and suggest that we return to our regularly scheduled PCF programming.

I did go to the op previously. My point is it is not necessarily the post but how it is written. Your post was written well and stated facts. Some will agree with it others won’t. I think the rebuts that come out with cussing and the tone they are written does more harm. It puts people on the defensive.

Didn't read the comment that resulted in a ban so can't render an opinion about that. Have a couple guys trolled Travis (maybe you and another mod I'm thinking off)? Maybe a bit but I didn't think much of it. Has Travis gone ape shit about the cop thread that HE created?. Yup. Don't know what to think about that as he can't see his glaring fuck up that continues on. My opinions of you haven't changed, same guy I want to play cards with. I post more there than here and with the exception of the cop thread and a couple other threads of star chip drama, it's comparable to this place IMO. Cheers.

I totally understand. I get to the point sometimes I want to vent as well. I do appreciate your viewpoint and I know there are many of us in the chipping community that are ready for the healing. Man, believe it or not if I knew that selling one rack of spotted flamingo chips would help the healing I would sell 2 racks!

Also please know that My post was my personal opinion. I appreciate your contribution and now let's get back to chipping!

I hear you, @Danger mouse - personally I think your perspective is a little dainty and that we should all just be used to stupid crap on the internet. But when somebody who posts only once every two months feels like he needs to chime in and be heard, that's probably an opinion people should consider.

Nothing wrong with a little venting. I'm sure it's getting pretty old for those who just like chips and prefer them drama free. Sometimes I think Larry likes 'em bitter and salty.

I’m not caught up on current drama since I’m a couple of days behind, so I don’t give a crap what happened. I know people enough to know a smear campaign when I see it and CD has too many threads that ar just that.

Too much anger as far as I’m concerned. Too much butt hurt. What do I mean by that? Too many people that can’t see over their own ego to realize that in the real world people make decisions and sometimes not everyone gets a cookie. Well too fucking bad. It’s the way the world works. Not everyone gets a promotion, gets into Harvard, gets the hot wife, whatever.

I’ve got a fucking rare, aggressive lymphoma and am facing 6 months of chemo and you don’t hear me whining. Play the cards you are dealt and get over it.

For those at CD that want to whine, I see as it as an attempted power play and that’s it. That’s also life. We all have to choose who to lie in bed with. I forone have made my choice and it consists of sticking with the people I know to be good folks. No angle shooters in my stable of contacts.

@bivey I pointed out my perception of @Jeff because I wanted to be upfront with my respect for him. I only meant that I don’t know him because i haven’t interacted personally with him, as I have with others, and am so far away from most chippers being in Aus. I’d put you in the same category as Jeff, as I only know you through your posts. I’d be more than happy to meet and play cards with both of you in the future. I plan on being in Vegas for the 2020 chip convention. I sincerely hope to meet many pcf and CD members at that time

I agree with you on the anger front, but would like to just defend the majority on CD, who couldn’t give two shits about any drama, much like most of the people on PCF. As always, I think any drama is caused by a minority.

As said, I love the chipping community and honestly would prefer that we were back to one forum. I just like to interact with some of those guys such as @detroitdad, @Seeking Alpha Social Club, @Lil Tuna and many others whom we would all agree are upstanding chippers regardless of which forum they post.

Hopefully everyone can let all the gobshite dramas go and we can all get along, which is what I’ve been advocating this whole time.

I’m extremely sorry to hear about your health and I wish you all the best with your chemo.

Jeff, I don't think you were in poor taste to post this and try and clear up your name as that's what most people want to do when attacked. However, the person that banned you clearly isn't well at the moment (as I already told him on his board) and needs a break from everything. The evidence, since that's what he is so concerned with, is literally written in front of him. I don't think anyone will think less of you for it. Keep on Shuck Trucking along as I know it's one of your favorites

I’m just pissed off that people can put their own egos and agendas ahead of the community all in an effort to make themselves feel better or usurp power.

Were there mistakes in creating a tribute set? Probably. Did SnoopTodd do the right thing? Probably. Are most people at CD good chippers just looking to do their chipping thing? Definitely.

A few bad apples spoil the lot.
