Planning a short trip for Labor Day weekend with friends and curious to get some thoughts from locals/the PCF brain trust while I’m still a bit earlier in planning.

3 hours to Des Moines

Find something along the way. Lunch?

Do something fun in Des Moines

Saturday, Sept 5​

Breakfast somewhere

Cedar Ridge tour and lunch at noon. $5pp

Then start heading south. Plan for something fun in afternoon and good city to stay in for dinner and stuff.

Sunday, Sept 6​

Rest of way back. Chill decompress in STL. See STL friends not on trip.
