Celebration/partial cheat day - steak & shrooms for dinner with a Treehouse DIPA

I had my annual check up and everything is good - down to 172 lbs too - I think I deserve a real IPA :)

Found a low carb IPA option, 3.6 carbs each. Not fantastic like their 90 minute IPA but waaaaaay better than mich ultra.

How does it compare to the Laguanitas low carb beer? Anyone know?

I grabbed a six pack of those too, had one of each last night. They are very similar, very dry and on the citrusy/pineapple range of IPAs, not very hoppy. I liked the Dogfish a little better and I think it was a good deal cheaper.

Anyone try making a low car BBQ sauce? Or have any true and tried recipes? Otherwise I'll start googling it in a bit.

Pulled pork for dinner!

Dogfish is pretty popular in the mid Atlantic. I believe they brew it in Maryland.

Thank you.

I decided to throw a bunch of stuff in a pan and see what happens ala @Poker Zombie style.

I estimate that the entire batch will have about 10 carbs in it.

Not seen is dijon mustard

I had a recipe for BBQ sauce, I just don’t know how Keto friendly it is.
4 tbls butter
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup ketchup
Bring butter, soy sauce and lemon to a boil.
Reduce to medium heat, ad ketchup and black pepper and bring to a boil again.
Reduce to low heat and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Let it cool and it’s ready to go.

If it's a low carb ketchup it could work ok.

Vegetarian chili for dinner tonight!
Quick and easy to make, also very healthy!
10 minutes to prep, 30 minutes to cook.
