Identification help for samples/classifications (1 Viewer)

Trying to understand what these would fall under and where some of them came from so I can either display, return, or sell/trade.

Sunfly "Hybrid".

For displays, would you separate Sunfly samples based on type like most do for CPC molds? Or is Sunfly used little enough that you'd just throw all sunfly together?

Yep, Matsui group buy. I am re-doing it right now, except 43mm instead of 39mm, and updated stickers.

Hmm... maybe Sunfly, but Abbiati are only a couple deep so far. Personally I would do a mixed cabinet for now of "semi custom Group Buy chips" I understand the whole concept of a 100% "customs wall" but I think that is going to take a long time. I would at minimum use these as temporary fillers, and maybe over time it will grown enough for a cabinet of each?

Yeah I'm going to run the top most row along the room as other cases. Paulson mold, BCCs, Group Buys, etc. But even with search there's so many like the above that I'm not sure as to the history or it's a guess as to the manufacturer, so this thread will really help me out.

Those are indeed Matsui 39s. That's the one Mel is having remade right now in 43mm! Going to be epic!!

Were these......just an open offering that you could order personally in any amount? Or were these part of several large group buys?

Those are indeed Matsui 39s. That's the one Mel is having remade right now in 43mm! Going to be epic!!

There were 43mm chips offered in the GB with those pictured as well, each size offered with a glitter decal and without.

The pro to ask here would be @Potsie1 , I believe they were all made at once and sold in a lot when the owner passed away. But Mr. Jim would know best!

Yeah I miss mine a lot. Actually PM'ed to check on mine in case they were getting bored where they are, and then pm'ed someone else about one's that never sold.

Lol going through all these samples might end up costing me money.

Hmm... I might know a guy (no not us) no guarantees but there was talk of a setting moving in the future. Holla at your boy if you are serious.

there was 2 versions of those chips. RHC (Paulson) and Sun Mold (BCC). You have the sun mold version.

These were a legit casino, as noted in the CG entry above. I'm the only person who has a playable set of these (that I know of). Even have an add-on coming as soon as my MD-50 order presses.

P.S. I'll take any Kings Inn chips that folks are looking to unload.
