I don't care if someone buys and does not play with the chips. That is their decision. But I hate people that buy and try and make some money with flipper action, and let me explain my reasoning. We are a community of chip collectors and we should be trying to help each other build great sets. For example, the chiproom has a sale and people buy up chips, not to build a set, but to try and make a profit, reselling at a higher price to people that were trying to build a set, but got shut out on that sale initially. When I buy, it's solely for personal use. Sure, someday I will sell, and the market will dictate the price, but I don't buy extra chips with the intent to make money, simply because by doing that, someone else won't get chips at a great price, to build their set, and I believe in a community, where we help each other, not try and profit off of each other. I am shocked and saddened at the high prices of chips these days. It's why I am slowly losing interest in the hobby.
