Designing a set of nonconventional, vibrant, NCV chips.

Color scheme inspired by Tiger NCV, inlay layout inspired by Paulson Pharaohs.

Top Chinese character is my last name in Chinese, “SKY” are my kids’ first initials and last initial in Star Wars font.

Thinking four denoms with sea animals, this one in particular is whale silhouette. Will use shaped inlays.

This first one will be a black chip with colorful inserts, most likely cog shaed inlay. With the black chip, will use light color background inlay with either solid color or gradient.

Since the chip itself will be crazy colorful with shaped inlays, thought should keep the inlay itself fairly simple.

Thoughts/comments/suggestions appreciated thanks!

Everything inside red line should be safe for shaped inlay I believe.
Your images include the bleed, cut, and safe areas, but looks like they're for 7/8" labels with non-shaped inlays, where the safe area is .75".

For shaped inlays, the safe area is actually smaller, at .65".

So your graphical/text elements are quite a bit outside what CPC considers safe printable area:

I do believe if you sign off on it, CPC would produce with art outside the safe area (confirm with them), but you have to accept if the shaped inlay cuts off graphical elements. In real casino chips that does happen sometimes, so I think it adds to the "authenticity" but CPC won't do it without explicit approval.

Thank you so much! Fixing them now!

Big fan of the black background with the white lettering, but all are very nice!

I dig the white bg with black letters. What other sea animals are you thinking?

Up to you, my players would clown me for having the word SKY above animals that live in the ocean lol. But love the design.
