What does everyone store 43mm chip in? My racks dont fit in any of my standard cases

Most of my 43 mm storage is comprised of Matsui / Apache racks stored in bird cages. You have to be a little careful here because not every bird cage will fit the Matsui / Apache rack, but many will.

For some other sets, it's usually the Bud Jones 43 mm or the chipco 43 mm racks stored in an Apache (different Apache) 3800 pelican style case with pluck foam.

Yup; I've only encountered 1 birdcage that didn't. In case anyone needs exact dimensions on what does/doesn't work:

Yeah i have the regular 43mm rack from apache that are open and they dont fit in the birdcage. I need some of those racks

I don't have any of those octagon-style racks. But looking at the image, I wouldn't think they would fit in a standard birdage. Hopefully someone here has them and can prove me wrong.

But you can always go with an Apache 3800 style case for them.

I was just thinking incase i needed to transport them mostly. Maybe ill just leave them in the racks on a shelf and just use them for home

Birdcages are not ideal for transportation. I would recommend a Versa style case or an Apache/Pelican case for that.

I don't think so, no; I was referring to the Versa cases that have the chip spots built-in already.

But, honestly, I think Apache cases are the better way to go; you define your own foam shape to fit your needs...

I agree with @BearMetal that birdcage is only for display and imho only for in the house movement - display to poker table. Go with the Pelican/Apache cases (not talking racks now) and as he also suggested
