I counted the orange stack on left as there are more spots and therefore easier to count.

Left stack - there's 4 on the bottom before you get to the railing and then 4 on the top before you get to the first chip push back toward the camera. figure it'd be one or both of those areas screwing up the count.

Which is the reason day 2 shouldn’t have been paid. Should stop when it gets to the money (paying X% stop at that point) that way everyone gets a fair share. 10% of 9000 <> 10% of 7000. But 10% of 16000 would be equally split.

Plus all the nonsense with first entry goes entirely to prize pool.

Curious of final payouts.

Can't do that obv. All the flights have to end at the same point so that all players restart at the same point in the tourney when they merge for day 3. Each flight is ITM at the same % players lost.

Not necessarily. The way it’s run here (again much smaller field) is that 1A stops when ITM and 1B plays usually to the end of the day as there are more players. Then 2 starts at the level 1A left off at.

My point is more about what “should” the payouts have been based on total field size.

I am more expressing my perceived inequality of the tournament. Again which would you rather have 1% of 7000, 9000 or 16000?

Finally got in to my 2nd tourney. The $470 HORSE at Arya. They sold out at 930am. I was alternate #47 and got seated midway through level 9. Now it's level 11 and they already let me get chip lead . I've got about 85k. Long way to go though.

What’s the issue? It’s going to be roughly a 7%-8% effective rake. Pretty low for a $500 live tourney this deep.
