Which chip pattern do you like for the $20 chip?

OK, our esteemed opie, H|Q has informed me of a few requirements: NO frac, and the $5 must include lavender (ode to Tropicana). The $1 seems locked in as does the $5. I think I've talked him into a hundo but we will start a petition. A $25 instead of a $20 is also an option so both are shown here. I also tried using a blue-family carryover spot on all denoms ala Samurai Palace.

300 - $1
800 - $5
200 - $20
100 - $100

1400 chips = 1 sarge drawer

Like most of the responses I really liked the $1 color combo. But I remembered the Argosy $1 chip, and fell for that one. So now I ask you. How does the charcoal work as a $20?

The charcoal looks good as a $20. Here's an ode to Argosy, Trop, and another try. Sub dg firetiger for dg peach on hundo.

Lock up the new argosy $1, trop $5, and charcoal $20. Winners, all. /thread ?

Just saw this thread. Love the inlay and the designs so far. Headed to work and cannot give a long opinion but would consider carefully how easy the chips are to tell apart. I think Butler commented earlier, but it is an issue with my quarter pie tourney set. We have several color blind players that really struggle.

And you MUST get at $100 chip.

Really awesome set so far. Beyond the technical details, it's the theme that works.

Close the thread! BW asked why i wasn't having a hundo made...

"hey, honey, i'm getting the chips made for that inlay you made me a decade ago."

"oh yeah? the one where you had me do 67 different denominations?"

"yeah, i'm going to make 3 of them."

"..."

Thanks for the info, do you have a pic of your pies? I'm still trying to unsee the last pic you showed me.

I like this, except you know, blue on all denoms except the $20. Queue the failboat.

Only matters if you look at them as a set. Blue has a hard time working with yellow with these pies. Gorgeous $20 chip is gorgeous!

i'm gonna give you a little piece of advice you shouldn't have needed: if a urologist pulls out his cell phone and says, "hey, wanna see a picture?" the answer is always to cover your eyes immediately.

but here are Leonard's (awesome) quarter pies:

I think I fixed it. And yet, I suspect we're not finished. ;)

personally, i'm almost always in favor of a $25 over a $20 and i think those look fantastic.

Just FYI, he called me up, scooped my ideas, then posted. And he's driving down this evening so I can clean his Par-a-dice mega set. I'm such a fish.
