Just was looking at the satellite schedule for the $3,500 Main Event. Came across this one next Thursday morning that is guaranteeing TWENTY seats!

I'm considering giving it a shot, you only start with 10k chips, so 100 bigs, but at least 30 min levels

If I play it (would be on my dime, not part of the bankroll) and win a seat into the main I will offer up 10% of my action to those who backed me in this series already

No idea, I've always paid with cash. But I think it would be the venue that would charge any fees like that, not the WPT itself?

"Hey Bob, how did you do in the tournament?"

Nobody says, "I was in the last 25".

I appreciate the thought, but as someone who tracks knockouts of every player in every Zombie Poker Club tournament, the bottom of the list are the best players, with the last name on the list being the winner (with the Knockout column saying "winner".

Don't get me wrong... I like where you are coming from. I would bink many more tournaments if they payed the first players KO'ed.

We check, he thinks and bets 9k. Pretty polarizing bet, could be a missed flush draw, could be Aces or 7's full

We make the call, he flips over and run into the cooler 4 handed

Still in it, but lost a lot of chips

We are now, got the full triple up. AQxx on an A87Q board, we rip over a bet and call, they both call

We call for a duece river and get the which is clean

We are at 33.3k after the first break. We had been in a spot before our triple up where we called a raise with AJT2 suited and the flop was AKT

Older guy bet 3k and we shoved for 3900 total. He said "I know what you have and you're too far ahead" and folded for only 900 more

Then we tripled up and won a few more pots

71 entries with a couple hours of re-entry remaining

I could be betting 97 there. He has the nut 7's full in that spot

Just seems like he would get called by better way more often he'd get called by worse/get a better hand to fold given the action.

That's how I felt about reraising him. But I think he gets a call from 97 or 87 there too
