Sold Windwalker Dollar Sale #9: ESPT Hundos (1 Viewer)

I’ve decided to thin out some of the chips I definitely won’t use, have extras of that are lying around, or will probably never be part of any set I put together, and so will be doing a series of “dollar sales”.

This sale is for 3 racks of pristine, mint ESPT hundos. Each rack is $1, max one rack per buyer.

Instead of doing a random drawing for this sale, I am asking whoever is interested in buying a rack to link their single favorite post from this site along with their “in” or “interested”. For example:

The post can be anything. Instructional, funny, off-topic, a rant, a rave, whatever. Just something you enjoy reading and going back to, because it’s meaningful or relevant to you. I thought this might help unearth some of the more popular / interesting posts on the site, since there is no timeframe from which the post has to be, either.

I will pick my top 3 favorites from the links and give the right to purchase to the posters of those links.

For the noobs, the icon to copy the URL to a single post can be copied by clicking on the share icon at the top of any post, or by clicking on the post number, and then copying the url from the address bar.

- Not a dibs sale.
- Your reference link must be an individual post, not a forum or thread.
- If more than one person posts a link that I choose, I’ll do a drawing from within that group of posters
- I will leave the sale open for entries until midnight PST on Friday.
- Asshat clause applies

Price: $1 shipped per rack. CONUS only.
International buyers: $1 per rack plus shipping.

And, not trying to be a kiss ass here by picking one of your posts, but I have found this thread from a few days ago fascinating. Started off as good advice from a bunch of members and morphed into a movie plot. Break out the popcorn — can’t wait to hear how this saga ends. Hope you continue to keep us in the loop, @Windwalker

- The following links have either been super helpful or super thought provoking. (Btw, not just saying this because WW is offering a really cool sale, but I truly loved the way he explained this and articulated his thoughts. It was bookmarked a few weeks ago simply because I love this topic of thought!)

"Scrub Donkey" post notwithstanding (because, really, is there a post that even comes close to matching its hilarity on PCF??), I'm going to go the nostalgic route and link to the post the began my journey down the chipping road a little more than three years ago: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/hello-from-switzerland.27941/

I came to PCF looking for one single set of chips that would serve as an upgrade on some dice chips and told myself that I could justify spending a "ridiculous" $2.50/chip on some Paulson NPS chips for one single set that I would "keep forever". Afterall, who could possibly need more than one set of poker chips? :ROFLMAO:

In my chipping journey on the hunt for chips that would spark the most joy for me, I came across the King's 1s. I never knew they existed and it was love at first sight. I spent countless hours on PCF going through pages upon pages of posts to find and contact anyone who had these chips with an offer.

However, this isn't a tale of how I manage to acquire the chips but more so of how through that process I manage to make a very good friend @cpiaaq
He had joined the forums in 2014 but wasn't active as active when I PM'ed him last year. What gave me the most joy was after he sold me the chips, he got back actively in chipping and started posting more. We started talking more about chips, what we each liked about chipping and our friendship grew from there. In any hobby or environment, it is the people you meet along the way that makes it a hundred times better.

A simple post that started a friendship:

In, but if I do win would like @cpiaaq to have it!

IN and Thanks again Krish!

I've got to go with this post, the beginning of @Dix journey to create the Redneck Poker Card Database. It's got humor, intrigue, engineering, creativity, problem solving, and it results in an extremely useful resource for our community. If anyone hasn't discovered this yet, you're welcome!

Now I need to go back and read all the other recommended links. I jumped straight here to post this, so I hope no ones else beat me to this one. If so, and I need to post another, just let me know.

I've been struggling to find a post that I refer back to regularly. Seemed like maybe I would cop out and choose the HSI Sale post or some other vendor/classified page. But then @steam made that post a few above this one, and its the nicest thing I've ever read. Who would think that a WTB PM over Kings $1s would continue for so long and become the highlight of visiting PCF? While I don't have the Kings anymore, I have something even rarer, a true friend. :) Glad you're back buddy!

You may want to vomit after all that cheese, sorry.

I have to give you credit @Windwalker, I don't think a giveaway post has ever made me stop and ponder my usage of this site as much as this one. I love that you were so specific in your request - no forums and no threads. A dozen threads came to mind immediately that I visit as often as there are updates available - the home game pics thread, the man cave thread, the fugly poker table thread, etc.

But a single post? That's a lot harder. I searched through my activity history to see if there was any single post I visited more than others. It took me a while, but I finally realized which one I've had to search up and find time and again...

Besides the fact that the chips are absolutely stunning, this is an example of the perfect way to do a pr0n post and it's how I've tried to model my own threads for each of my sets. The lighting, focus, and angles show off the chips so well. The chips are shown together, individually, and in splash pots. There's a little backstory but the focus of the post is the pr0n. As someone whose entire personal thread is dedicated to beautiful pr0n, I figured you would enjoy this one :)

Oh, and "in!"
