Starting this thread to consolidate all the Photoshop lineup mock-ups I’ve done over the past couple of years, and to have a space for my upcoming 3D renders, using a tool I’ve been working on for almost a year.

Starting with some of my favorites, but will be posting more to this thread over time.

FYI, the images of the base chips used in the individual chip mock-ups on “marble” are taken and modified from the chip scans on PCF, courtesy of @Tommy and other contributors.

Krish, when do you prefer a 20 vs a 25 for your sets?
I think our resident historians may have better info, but I always prefer a $25. I think the reason a lot Cali Cardrooms ended up having $20 denoms is because limit was HUGE back in the day at those establishments, and $20s were more conducive to limit-style betting.

Love the $100/$500 chips! In my opinion, they really improve the line up, which isn’t easy to achieve with the Lakeshores I think. I would love to see a black 3D38 one day…still think a black $100 would work great here

Looks like the images from PCF Paulson Chip Color Reference were used for the base of your renders.

It doesn't bother me so much that you used them and removed 99% of the watermarks, but @NorCalChip and I put our time into creating that resource. Just a little credit would be nice, that's all.

Oh, sorry @Tommy — all base elements are cut outs or mashups from the images on the resource. The watermarks were removed because when you mashup the colors together, the watermarks get cross-cut and it looks like a mess.

I’ve added the base credit to the OP in bold.

Thanks. We were going to sub-contract The Chip Guide guy and have him be our enforcer. ;)

Recently sold my entire Jack Detroit high denom set to facilitate a buddy’s $200/$400/$800 mixed PLO / NLHE game, which left me wanting for a new high denom set, and I wanted it to be all THC.

Inspired by my recent frequent trips to Aspen and my favorite store there, this is KEMOSABE - Card Country.

@Windwalker

first let me say I am a Texas Rangers Die Hard fan........boyhood team, i know sad story

But I

LOVE THAT DODGER chip, if one were ever to fall off the table and get dirty and you didn't want to use it anymore and it became the OUTCAST of the whole set, it could have a home at my house right next to the Yellow Sunset Beach (which I have taken around the country to all the games and casinos I have been to as my card protector)that you donated as a pot sweetener at DEGEN IN DALLAS

Just Saying

My 4d14 Commerce Casino tribute set. I wanted all the chips to be leaded as well, so that took some doing.

very nice
how are you determining if a chip is leaded? weight? date of manufacture? reasonable assumption?

Weight, date of manufacture AND reasonable assumption. Each of those base chips are already known to be leaded, and from somewhat the same era.
