Straight Flush
My new favorite for my espresso machine is La Colombe Nizza, whole beans. Just a perfect medium roast.
No I used the wrong word. Some here have said roasting at home isn't that hard, but I prefer to leave it to the professionals. You actually roast your beans at home?
Maybe it's not that hard, but I have never heard of people roasting their own.No I used the wrong word. Some here have said roasting at home isn't that hard, but I prefer to leave it to the professionals.
I updated my post to say brew at home
Was posted earlier in this tread by @PinkdanMaybe it's not that hard, but I have never heard of people roasting their own.
I thought maybe I was missing something...
Same here. I always end up with Starbucks's Espresso Dark RoastFor espresso, I tried a bunch of different beans at first, but it’s a pain in the butt (and wasteful) dialing in your grind for different beans. And I’m cheap. So I’ve settled on Starbucks espresso dark roast whole beans. It’s good and they’ve been consistent for me.
I was all set to google huckleberry roasters, then I saw the price!Of all the coffee I've bought to brew at home so far, this is by far my favorite.

I know I'm digging this up from a long time ago, but I'm just reading this thread. Thanks very much for posting this link. I liked the story so much that I'm going to read the book.Just read this from Rolling Stone recently...about Tom Petty and the search for the perfect cup of coffee. Worth a read.

Pretty sure I'm responsible for a gallon or more of that, and I'm not joking. I drank at least 2-3 pints of that manna every day I was there.Brewed another batch of cold brew as the Degens killed 5 gallons at the meetup.
This one is White Rock Brazil Sweet Blue.

If I made cold brew with this, people would probably explode.

Death Wish is good stuff, but I'm partial to black rifle - currently drinking:

They roast in Utah (and I think TN as well), but there's stores all over Texas. I love their story & their commitment to vets - really cool story out there to them helping Afghan troops escape the Taliban to come work for them too.Is that out of CO? I think I've been to a Black Rifle store.
Shows how much I pay attention sometimes. Turns out my favorite bean is a light roast..My go to is always a medium roast for espresso. Made a mid-afternoon iced latte with these beans today.
