Hey everyone,

I watch a lot of poker on YouTube and I’m always looking for new channels or creators to add to the rotation. There’s so much poker content out there now everything from strategy breakdowns to pure entertainment and I’m curious who everyone here enjoys watching the most.

Some of my personal favorites right now are:
  • Hungry Horse Poker – I really like his content for game sense and strategy. I feel like he does a great job explaining his thought process during hands and it’s actually helped me think through spots a little better.
  • Wolfgang Poker – This one is more on the entertainment side for me. His vlogs are really well put together and it’s just fun watching him grind different games.
  • Dukey Bets – Another entertaining one to throw on and watch. I just enjoy following along with his sessions and seeing how things play out.
I know there are plenty of other great creators out there like Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Rampage Poker, but I’m sure I’m missing some good ones.

Who are your favorite poker YouTubers right now and why?
Any underrated channels I should check out?

Always looking for something new to watch.

Personally I like a lot of the ones you listed, but Mariano is also up there for me. I enjoy his splashy play and thought processes. Plus he’s a musician/drummer so I feel like I need to support my own 😂

I used to watch Brad Owen's. Nice guy, but lately his vlogs are "see me hit quads again and again at high stakes". Everyone also seems to call him light, I guess just to get on his vlog.

...although I just read he is in the middle of a downswing.

I switched to watching purely for entertainment vs strategy, and just end up rotting my brain away with HCL, Lodge, etc with whatever pops up in suggested videos. Honestly I barely like any of them, it’s just background noise when I get a moment to put something on.

I watched Brad Owen, Mariano, and Rampage years ago when they were all playing lower limits. At some point they lost me though, through no fault of their own. I just became more disconnected with poker in general.

I also watch Doug Polk videos when weird drama stuff pops up in the poker community.

And I certainly don’t watch slots and table game videos now because what kind of person would waste their time on that… nope, not me at all. Not even a little bit. Ok yeah I do that, but I hate myself for it.

Been watching Nor Cal poker the past few months. His monotonous voiceover can be a little off putting to some but he's a great sport about it and still finds way to introduce humor to his weekly videos.

I love watching Wolfgangs content. His videos are very well put together. I especially loved the vlogs when he went to Gabe Davis' house to play with the Bills players. Always wished I coulda had him stop at my game.

I like Bart on crushlivepoker.
I've never understood the appeal of Brad Owen. Is it just that he built a big audience because he was doing it before everybody else?

For me it was more dry sarcasm, and being a little bit different in a sea of people doing essentially exactly the same thing.

There’s also a bad end of that spectrum though where you hit an extremely obnoxious and offensive level, and I’m not here to talk down on anyone and the work they do/what they publish, but anyone watching Poker YouTube as of a couple years ago can probably figure out who I mean.

Unrelated to the semi-rant above, I’m looking through a lot of the suggestions in this thread now though to start working on mixing in some more strategy videos along with the brain rot.

This has been the same for me too. Finds way to add his dry humor but also appreciate his attitude to the game. Plus more laid back straightforward videos

Brad Owen for vlogging, Nik Airball and Scotty Nguyen for comedy, Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey for good poker.

I'm new to the game and looking for some good intro channels to watch. I'm a fan of NorCalPoker, but most others are wayyy too rich or experienced for me. I'm not smart (experienced!?) enough to know why someone bets $100 with pocket 9s. Anyone have any recommendations for a skilled vlogger playing micro stakes I could learn from?

Run good aside, Mariano explains his thought process well - and he reports all types of hands, bad beats, river rats, etc. not just hands that he wins

Ryan DePaulo is incredibly entertaining I think. And he’s got a lot of content going back about a decade. Trooper 97 is also really good too, but he’s gotten away from Poker.

BOBBY JAMES POKER
I love that guy. Shows high-stakes heads up NLHE & PLO, lots of Linus for 1000/2000 blinds, it’s nuts

I like Kyle Fischl (goes by O'fischl Poker). Usually plays 1-3 and 2-5.

I used to like Jaman back in the day, but then he got too heavy handed with the editing.

Sethy poker for his more relateable content and playing real stakes like 1/2 and occasionally going to more nosebleed stakes.
Brad owen is also fun to watch for more thoughtful play.
If i just want to watch straight gambling, HCL, Mariano, Rampage

@Anthony Martino for sure, except the online videos. I don't watch a lot of HE videos any more, but I really enjoyed Hungry Horse. I used to watch PLO Professor but I don't understand how he's profitting. He's gotta be on an eternal sun run, at least compared to Antonio. :D

DonkFishPoker is a friend of PLO Professor but hardly publishes. There are some others too, but they stop posting in < 1 year so PLO guys keeps dying off. Jnandez is of course there, but it's mostly online boring stuff. Same with Luke. Locals at Lodge has a PLO stream once a month or something. I also enjoyed some of Galfond's videos but they tend to be too high level for my benefit. I basically watch poker on YT for educational purposes.

Thanks so much! I finally started vlogging live content again but on a new channel:

I met him at the Lodge before the raid and he came across as a super chill, down-to-earth dude. Same with Andrew Neeme.

Brad comes across kinda like a misreg to me. Very quiet, not very engaging, and I've seen his anger come through in some of his vlogged content when he loses to a fishier player (I get it, I suffer from it too sometimes, although I try desperately to not show it at the tables at least. I'd rather lose money to the donks than the euro grinders)

I’ve never cared for Brad at all mostly because sure he doesn’t seem to have any personality at all. But I wonder if your encounters with him have been recent. He’s been open about having a rough time of it recently (past couple of years maybe?), something like he’s been playing too high, losing money, and hating life.

Brad Owen is probably my favorite overall. Wolfgang is good for variety and entertainment.

Rampage..... well Rampage is Rampage and it's like watching a train wreck most times....... lol

Yeah, past couple of years was when I met him.
