Sacramento Things to Do (Poker and Non Poker Related) (1 Viewer)

Hey all! Heading up to Sacramento alone for a week and looking for places to eat, relax, and possibly play poker/slots.

I’m staying near downtown or in downtown depending where I’m stationed, could be 5-10 out of town.

I don’t mind some night life, but I’m mainly there for training and orientation so nothing too outgoing!

Your best bet for gambling will be Thunder Valley Casino. They have it all. It's about 30 minutes away, depending where you are staying in Sacramento. Stones is a little closer, but I'm not sure if they have slots too or if it's just poker/blackjack.

Nightlife wise, there's a bunch of stuff around the Arena Downtown, a lot of fancier stuff. There's a cool place called Tipsy Golf, it's in a basement, they have this little makeshift mini golf course set up and they sell beer and tacos. We had fun there. Old Sacramento is close by too and they have more divey stuff.

Either way, you should be able to find some good food and drinks and you're not too far from playing some cards. Enjoy!

I like to grab beer and some food an Urban Roots brewery which is on one of the letter streets near downtown.
