Both or any. I’m just saying about 500 people had about 100,000 cut cards made in many many different designs, some casino related, some custom, some fantasy but there’s tons of different ones that you can obtain and use to liven up your game. Just put a wanted ad out and you are likely to get a dozen ir so for just postage. What do you mean by custom cut cards? Like - custom designed by me? Or just dedicated, blank plastic cut cards?
Good to know, thank you! Both or any. It wouldn't work for my game, but maybe this guy's players are in better shape
Yes you can order cut cards or in the past members have run group buys where several members sent in their designs and benefitted from group pricing. I ordered some Poker and Bridge size Sloth Club cards....Nothing fancy but matches the simple them of my old fashioned lazy chips....I freaking love em. Anyone can design their own and Cut cards, Buttons, etc... really are not that expensive, Some "other" designs that other members submitted are over the top amazing. (Thanks to Mattross131 for helping Invert the green design on the poker sized card from black and white to the reverse negative image used). Eventually I would like to finish a table with felt featuring the sloth that is looking at you from both side of the table like the cut card design. What do you mean by custom cut cards? Yeah, pretty much! I'm sure there are other benefits, but protecting the bottom card is the main one.Dumb question- what is the purpose of cut cards? I assume to hide the bottom card?
I use them in my weekly league but have not introduced them in my home game yet. I want to be able to give the correct answer when I get the inevitable questions.
Can be used as a coaster as well……Yeah, pretty much! I'm sure there are other benefits, but protecting the bottom card is the main one.

Why no dealer button? I always found them nice.No dealer buttons.
Shuffle behind.
I’ve found that the small blind shuffling creates extra clutter while the dealing is going on. I strongly prefer shuffling behind. Why no dealer button? I always found them nice.
We always shuffled ahead so the small blind was shuffling. Is there an advantage to shuffling behind? I get that you basically shuffle the cards you just delt so maybe that's why.
I must be missing something - what's the advantage to not having dealer buttons?Circus games.
No dealer buttons.
Shuffle behind.

There isn't, but its not absolutely necessary in a self dealt game where the cards rotate, however it is handy to have to protect/mark the stub, and some circus games it helps as who has the stub isn't really identifiable.I must be missing something - what's the advantage to not having dealer buttons?
That and it also helps protect against things like dodgey dealing, dealing from the bottom of the deck etcYeah, pretty much! I'm sure there are other benefits, but protecting the bottom card is the main one.
