Tough to beat Tissot's value. I have one and it has received the most compliments.

I have the exact same Citizen with a leather strap, and it is currently 1 of 2 watches that I wear/rotate. The titanium is extremely light, and it's a great watch. I picked it up for $129.99 from a TJ Maxx about 5 years ago and have never had a single problem with it.

If I had a choice between a watch with a bracelet and a watch with a strap and I liked them both equally, I'd always take the watch with the bracelet. You can always buy aftermarket leather straps but the bracelets are (generally) more expensive and harder to find, especially with titanium models.

I personally like Tissot more as an overall brand due to having a Swiss movement, but eco-drive watches (Japanese made movements) are generally pretty solid and haven't given me any issues. Good choices!

Bill,
I own several Citizen watches, and they're my go-to for watches. They wear well, look great, and tell time like champs! The eco drive eliminates the need for batteries, and the Ti versions are boss!

The same watch you linked can be found cheaper online. I'd go with the bargain price. HERE

I've purchased a few of mine from Kohls Department Store, with their 30% off coupons, and they routinely have the citizens on sale for 40+% off to start.

As for the Tag watches. There is a lot desire for these. I acquired one a while back, but there are hidden costs. The replacement bands alone on most models will exceed the value of watch... The band for my watch would cost $300+ to replace. I scored a sweet used Movado watch a while back, and the band broke... The band was $250+ to replace, and I simply scored another used version of the watch on eBay for $180...

and here's my go to Citizen. As you can see, it looks sharp. In one pic, you can see it posing next to my championship Twinkies!!! I took that photo right before leaving for the 2015 Windy City Blowout Main Event, where my lucky watch and Twinkies propelled me to victory!

ps. I have no credible reason why on earth I took a pic of my watch next to the twinkies during the 2015 WCB...

Why wouldn't you take a pick of your watch next to twinkies? Seems like a no brainer to me.

Odd. I would never go for a non-standard face.

If he relooks at the Citizen, also check out Costco. They always run a special at Christmas on Citizen.
