I came across these locally. The guy is going through his deceased uncle’s belingings and came across these chips. He said his uncle was a gambler and I think that he believes some of these might be worth something. Trying to figure out the value of these before making an offer. What do you guys think?

There is some OK money in those Sahara chips, say average of $10 each, the most expensive is probably the shaped inlay Del Webb $100. The rest of the lot are $5 or less each. Half near the $5, the rest around $1. The Cali Bell chips might get a little more than $5 each. If you got all this for $100 you're not doing great, but not terrible either.

Agree with this. I'd be interested in the 3 Cal Bell $100s for a total of $20 shipped. (Or I could trade a sample set of some other denoms of Cal Bells for 2 of the $100s.)

The light blue $2.50s seem unique. But I know next to nothing about most of the others. My guess is around half the chips would either be hard to sell, or just a pain to sell individually. I don't know if the 4 Queens $5 chips are still live. The Borgata $1 & $5 look like they're the same live chips in use there a couple years ago. But if you're looking for resale value, and don't plan on keeping any, then you probably want to be closer to $40 or $50.

He had a bunch of others ones that he sent me pictures of a few days ago. He said his girlfriend took them to work with her and gave them away:eek:

Hes had them on offer up for a few weeks. I asked if he had the pictured chips by the rack. He didnt so I stopped inquiring. Very nice guy to deal with. $50ish still a good deal.

I ended up getting the ones in the op, plus about 200 others on subsequent trips..he kept on finding more in his uncles storage. I think I’m in $140 on all of them. Here are the others...

That is quite the mix.... Tournament, Macau, fractional, fantasy, prop, all sorts of chips from all over the place!

Yeah, guy said his uncle was quite the gambler. I haven’t decided what to do with them. Gonna do some investigating and see what some of these are worth. Keep you posted.
