Warning, this might be dumb and not make sense.

There's a few inlays out there where it feels like the whole inlay is super cohesive and the graphics combine with the text to sort of, really stand out and make them look awesome. The first two that come to mind are the circus circus inlay with the prize units, and the cactus petes, where the denom and graphics are involved.

I'm just curious to know if there are any more examples of inlays like this. Doesn't have to be just the denom in the graphic, can be the text itself or just really clever ideas in general.

Bottled-in-Bond on the tax stamp? ;) Or were you only talking about casino chips and not customs?

Nope either works :) Just looking for any examples in general!

Those are quite unique!

You've never seem em!? Yeah, the whole idea with the Bottled-In-Bond set was to embrace the roots of Bourbon and the Bottled-In-Bond Act which has roots back to the tax stamps used by the British on imported goods. You can read all about it here. But yeah, the idea was to make the denomination a part of the chip by having each chip have its very own tax stamp with the value.

IM A FAN OF THE PETE'S.

The California Club in Vegas did this with their quarter at one point:

(photo "borrowed" from the Chip Guide as I'm not near my collection right now)

I then used this for inspiration for my Arizona Club customs. It's less incorporated as you are looking for, but more along the lines of an offset/de-centered denom.

Always loved this classic Hilton inlay. Though the chip itself is plain as plain gets (base white! no spots!), there's a ton of visual interest due to the contrast of the colorful (but minimalist) inlay, and also the distinctive house mold.
