The Club House $500 chip (1 Viewer)

I already posted this in the original set design thread, but I don't think many people saw it. I figured I would give it it's own thread to shine a little more light on it and to get any feedback before I place an order.

Here is the current design. I am using the design from the dealer button, with some small changes. It was intended to be the $500 chip originally, but thought it would work well as a button too.

Eventually there will be a fractional chip as well to complete the set. I haven't decided between a 25c or 50c chip or edge spots and colors. But it will be a sun rise in a similar style as this chip.

It is a little inspired again by my Magic the Gathering days and this card.

I personally LOVE the darker version. I mean, really love it!!!

The lighter/faded one, not so much. And I'm not sure it will be discernible on a 7/8" inlay. Also, didn't even know it was a moon in he background until I saw the darker one.

Just my $0.02.

I love the art only side too! The name side needs to be a little lighter so that the name can be legible though.

One option would be to change the name color to red and put an outline on it it. Then the outline around the moon could potentially be darker.

I didn't realize that was the moon; I thought it was a white background with a black border. Maybe if the moon was smaller and off-center? But I'm nitpicking; it looks great.

Edit - that was viewing it on my phone. On the computer screen, it's obviously the moon.

Made the moon a little smaller so that the name fits in the border around it make it easier to read and the moon more distinguishable.

I'm think the black name looks fine and shouldn't be an issue. Thoughts?

The red font on the name would throw me, being different from the others.

The black looks legible to my eye. Personally I'd go with black.

I prefer 'The Club House' in black and the denim in red, just like the rest of the chips.

I am getting the itch to place some kind order with CPC. I think adding 150 more secondary $1’s so I can spread 2 tables with them (for a future meetup at some point ) and 50 secondary $100’s would be fun.

Who doesn’t love a secondary add-on lol. I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time mocking up secondaries for my set. Fortunately for my wallet, other than the $5s that I ordered I can’t settle on any that work better than the originals.

Your hundo would be a great choice for secondary. I really love the original, but there are so many great options for white summery coloured chips.

If casinos can have secondaries so can we.
