Interesting, I'm not saying you are wrong, but I believe Sunfly did label swaps (for instance the $25 label on the $20 yellow chip as mentioned) for no additional cost and it came applied during the OWPS buy. Unless Sal or Gene did the relabel work? Maybe @ABC Gifts and Awards can shed light.

You are correct, we could have Sun-Fly apply the labels, however based on responses we have 101 different combinations of chips and labels. To accommodate everybody I was thinking this would be easier to manage. It is hard enough to ship without having to look at every chip to determine who it belongs to. If we have labels applied, we could have 20 versions of the same chip. With this option, the shipper will only have to worry about two versions of each ship Standard labels and unlabeled. They then just have to count out the correct number of labels and ship.

We could limit options, but I personally don't think applying labels is that big of a deal. Obviously a bigger deal if your buying 10,000 chips and they are not standard. If your placing a 10,000 chip order, we can probably have those applied for you.

Also keep in mind that the actual ordered quantities (labeled chips, blank chips, and labels-only) may affect the bottom line price for each. Plus there will be shipping costs, re-shipping costs, and some minor ancillary fees (bank wire transfer, etc.). Plus the artwork fee for labeled chips and blank chips.

Until the actual order is quoted by Sun-Fly and all costs are specifically accounted for, everything is just an estimate.


@p5woody -- are you planning on offering the MT labels only? Some may be planning to mix-match these along with other hybrid blanks (available elsewhere or from previous buys).

As far as I am concerned, yes you can buy as many labels as you want. I am assuming Sun-Fly would be okay with that as well.

Yes, one thing to mention as well is that Sal did increase the cost per chip since he managed everything thru OWPS.

I agree it would make it easier for whoever is running this thing essentially pro bono.

My wording was insufficiently specific; I was assuming a pre-production sample would be printed for Woody's inspection before the run. I was trying to ask about ordering after pics of those had been posted, not after samples-in-hand for interested parties.

That's up to @p5woody -- typically Sun-Fly will run specific individual prototype chips and email pictures if asked; sending the actual prototype chips costs extra and takes longer.

My previous order, I had them supply pictures and made adjustment based on the pictures. I did not go through the cost of having prototypes in hand. This seemed to work well for my last order so I was planning to do the same.

I don't have a specific date, my hope is to have something up within the next two weeks. Working on some final design stuff before we open things up.

Should be enough to support up to 20 at 12/12/5/6 and up to 30 at 8/8/4/7 with 5000 and 25,000 chips for color ups and rebuys.

Yellow Cash chip with $20 label is 70¢, it will come ready to play.
Yellow Cash chip with $25 label is 70¢ , However you will need to apply the label yourself once they are received.
