Ordering Closed Tina’s CDI Casino de Isthmus City Replica Hybrid Chips — Who’s In? (1 Viewer)

I’m looking to buy some of Tina Hybrid Ceramic tribute chips in the Casino de Isthmus City (CDI) design as part of the current @justincarothers / Broken Arrow group buy.

Here’s the mock up of the PCF artwork based on Paulson’s original CDI 98 chips. For newbies not in-the-know, the Paulson line was inspired by the CDI chips in the James Bond film “Licence to Kill”:

So I’m looking for other like-minded PCFers to join me so we can split the $80 label fee when ordering from Tina. The more people ordering this chip and label design (cash or tourney) on any of Tina’s hybrid ceramic chip molds (web, jester, Greek, or sun), the less we all pay. Four people total would be a very reasonable $20 each.

Also know that you can shuffle the labels between different chips, too.

For example, if you’d rather have a pink $5K chip, you can substitute the $5K label onto the pink $25K chip.

After debating between the web vs H&C molds I’ve decided on the 39 mm Hybrid in the (somewhat controversial) Tina Hat & Cane mold. Your choice of mold doesn’t have to be the same as mine for us to get the discount as that’s based on the labels.

Basically, yes.

More precisely, it’s 0.47 a chip for 39 mm + $16 label fee (with 5 of us) + shipping that varies by number of chips.

Okay everyone above and other interested parties, it looks like we’ve got 4 people (maybe 5?) ordering CDI chips, or at least using CDI labels.

Let’s get this label fee even lower, so please consider posting your orders with Justin’s GB now.

FYI, per my discussion with Justin, CDI will not have a “no fee” label option for many months, maybe just once a year, so this is your best shot at getting them at a significant cost reduction.

I'm still in for some, just haven't decided how many or what denominations yet. I've picked up a few more cash and tourney Paulson sets since this started, so not sure how I'm going to use the Tinas yet, but still want some inexpensive CDIs and Rounders to play around with. Thinking I'll probably get both in 43mm?

From what I've seen they look close to what's pictured in real life. In your example, I think they took the $1000 chip design and colour and used it for a one-off 25 cent design. Some people like to mix/match colours and denominations based on the original design.

These CDI chips are not "exact" duplicates of the originals, but nearly so, thus we tend to call them "tribute" chips.
Those colors you see in that post (real life photos) should be exactly what you get... the dye-sublimation/printing would be the same no matter what chip blank and mold design used. There may be a little variance between different printer units used, but pretty much they are the same.
Tina's printers and crew also take certain creative liberties with colors when setting up the art files, so it's not uncommon for them to be off a bit from the CMYK values and the virtual mock ups we provide them.
I suspect that's the case with the 25 cent chip that looks more 'cream' than 'white'.
