Smoke odor removal with leaded THC (1 Viewer)

I acquired some casino used 90's era hot stamped THC and a (thankfully) small subset have a smoke and beer smell to them. I bought a 3L vevor US to clean but I'm wondering what can be done about the odor without damaging the chips? Search hasn't really given me answers outside of avoid the standard vinegar bath as it consumes lead. I'm willing to lose a few to science if anyone has some suggestions. Thanks!

TSP is used to clean cigarette tar and discoloring from walls and it also works on chips. Check out these threads.

I thought someone used TSP on HS and they came out OK. I could be mistaken.

Mixed sucess using it. Having never done it myself, I can only base my opinion on the experiences of others. Results have varied based upon the condition of the stamps and whether or not using "faux" tsp or not.

Use scented mineral oil after the US bath...that does the trick for me (but I clean manually)

TSP and hotstamps can indeed be a bad combo...so test with one or two chips first.

I would not use TSP on hot stamps it will devour the stamp

I would use an oxi based laundry detergent that is scented
