@2Chips1chair, thanks for the update.
Had mine almost 3 years. Still glad I bought it. Went through a phase where I didn't like babysitting the shuffler, with loading and unloading it, as we do self deal. But now I'm fine with it - I corral the cards most of the time, other times with help. I load the machine, and hand across the table to the next dealer. I guess I am used to it. I still am able to do the others things a host does. And it isn't that loud, IMHO, no one complains about it, and it is efficient.
One thing I did start doing recently, due to another chipper on here suggesting, is to give up the dealers/shuflfer seat to others that don't mind dealing or managing the shuffler. That eases the load.
But all in all, I still am glad to have it. I does jam occasionally, like once a night. I use BA, FS, and Copags poker sized, card. It is really nice not to have to worry about shuffling, or a player who isn't good at it, or is distracted from having to nudge them or say something about how they shuffle. And players really like it. It's +EV, IMHO.
YMMV.
