Loving that pool area! That looks beautiful. We have access to a community pool but the Mrs. is already talking about having our own. I told her after I get a garage built then we can talk about it.
Thanks!!
Lol - I’d go with the garage as well  :ROFLMAO: . When we moved from VA, part of the deal was I promised the kids we’d get a pool - lol. I’m just soo glad we did it the 1st year we moved in prior to covid. The prices are way higher now (at least here).

I kind of miss the social aspect of the community pool. However so many people here have pools the community pools were not the same. In VA - the whole neighborhood would be at the pool.

I'm gonna need better pics of the pool please.
That’s pretty much it - lol, it’s a pretty small area as we kind of skimped on the decking. One thing I wish we hadn’t done. Although I did just finish my 3 month (but actually took me 2 years) project!! Just a few of my guys are in it now while I wait for the filter to fully cycle.

Seems like it's in the fine fescue fmaily but not 100% sure. Not being a native to this area puts a damper on my identification. Anyway to know for sure?

Awesome, I'll keep that in mind. I'm thinking I'm going to just suck it up this year and buy something next year. The problem is I have a 60 year old commercial Lawn Boy that I don't want to give up. It's a tank, is reliable, and burns almost no gas. I took 3/4 gal. out of the 1 Gal. tank when the movers showed up. I burned the rest off and that took almost 5 hours before it died. They kept laughing all day because it just kept running. Plus storing a riding mower is going to take up more space in my garage where space is at a premium right now.
On the trucut c27 you can buy a seat to attach to it if you are lazy and want to ride with it lol

Slowly growing grass, it was in pretty rough shape when we bought the house 2 years ago. Lots of weed & feed, over seeding, etc. Soon we will do a sprinkler system, maybe.

Biggest pain now is all those damn reeds growing on the water line. Have cut them down a few times, but they grow in the water so can’t really pull up the roots or apply chemicals. Oh well.

Here is a photo of my front yard. I have a love hate relationship with the tree in the front. Looks beautiful when it blooms but I have to clean up after it for weeks

Right on, that looks fantastic!!!
Thanks the front is coming along, the back was 2 weeks ahead and much more grown in. I already had to blast some kalinga and nut grass with sedgehammer

Single stripes, double stripes and deck/pool project that I’m still waiting on my Trex to get delivered….

End of season pics. Lawn really has made gains in last two years. Two years of areation and reseeding along with monthly treatments. Had to get rid of grubs and also captured a mole that bugs bunnied’ the law. Still have some stubborn stilt grass that takes awhile to crowd Out.

How about future lawn!

Dropped a big Poplar and this Maple this afternoon. Felling trees is the easy part! Clean up is the bitch. But that will heat our house this winter!

Hard to tell there but we had quite the audience... about 10 watching us

Have to zoom in but the deer were eating fresh dropped leaves from tree tops we can't get to until it dries out down in the bottom.
