I am looking for a set of 1000 scroll ceramics for a cheap price preferably with an acrylic case included. Can barely find them anywhere with customizable denoms. Does anyone have an idea where I can pick up a quality set? I would also be interested in buying them without a case for a good price.

Scrolls were my first chips. They seem to be sold out where I'd look for them. Looks like a bit of a shortage in the ceramic market across the board.

Strong recommendation you get a ceramics from BR Poker which is going to have a nicer printing method then you'd find on scrolls, so crisper lines and more vibrant colors. https://brpropoker.com/collections/signature-chips

I like an acrylic carrier but they aren't a thing to cheap out on given how they could fail and how much weight 1,000 chips is. For example: https://www.thepokerstore.com/collections/empty/products/1000-ct-acrylic-case-w-10-racks
Is VERY different to:
https://banksupplies.com/chip-carriers

Decent chance 1,000 chips is overkill, what is your use case? we can probably help you with a breakdown that makes more sense, less better chips.

I usually run games of around 8-10 players we usually play recreationally with friends, but I really am not willing to spend the price of brpro poker chips just because I’m usually playing recreationally. I am upgrading from a set of 400 chips from target so I want to go midrange but not too much money. I did get the chance to get a sample set of scrolls from Apache and really like how they feel. Although they aren’t printed on really well and have a decent edge gap on one of the chips. I did see that discountcasinogear.com has a set of 1000 scrolls for cheap but I’m really worried about the quality. They also have suspicious return policies. I did email them to try and get pictures/videos of the actual chips they send out. Please let me know what you think because I don’t have much experience in this field. Also for denoms I am thinking
200 -1$
300 - 5$
300 - 25$
100 - 100$
50 - 500$
50 - 1000$
We usually play tournament style games for little pots but when we occasionally play cash games we usually figure it out. I’m not really looking to get into the 25¢ chips.

For a single table tournament set you want about 400 chips. There are tons of breakdowns on the forum for formats, starting stacks, all kinds of things.

This is a good guide for chip breakdowns with various stakes for cash games:
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/thre...ut-a-cash-game-chip-set-5c-10c-to-5-10.30897/

Poke around a bit or do a search and you'll find people posting breakdowns that can be used for cash or tournaments at the same time that are way under 1,000 chips.

Most people here would caution you against using a tournament set and a cash set at the same time as someone could pocket a $25 chip in a tournament game and then sneak it into a cash game and suddenly the bank is $25 light. Some others will tell you it doesn't matter and that won't happen as they play with the same 8-10 players ever game. YMMV.

But this is what you are looking for?
100 .25
200 $1
200 $5
200 $25
180 $ 100
100 $500
100 $1000
40 $5000

Let me know your budget
Maybe I’ll sell my set!!!!
My budget is way lower than what you’d let them go for. I’m around the 400-450 dollar range. Just trying to see if I can get some scrolls to be honest I think tikis are too expensive for me right now. Do you know if discount casino gear has quality chip sets?

Unless you were talking about your scrolls

Scroll ceramics are not quality chips. There is a reason they are inexpensive.

You don't need 1000 chips for your stated purposes. A 400-chip set with the right breakdown will adequately meet your tourney requirements.

With a budget of $400-450, you can easily afford a 600-chip set of quality tournament chips (up to 75c each) which could also serve as a cash set if needed, (again, provided you get the right breakdown).

Is there a breakdown that you could possibly refer me to and also what chip would you recommend? (I do really like how the ceramics feel)

Nothing wrong with getting ceramics. They are great for certain applications, and pretty much bullet proof.

'Cards mold's are chips made in china in massive bulk, think like buying them off alibaba. You can either buy the art from someone here, use art that is free to use from here or you can create your own. You then have them made and shipped over. It takes a long time and you sacrifice some to print errors, but they are the cheapest route you can take. PCF members regularly band together for volume pricing and consolidated shipping.

For a typical 10-player T1-base tournament set (using 10/8/10/2 = 500 stacks):
100x 1
80x 5
100x 25 (+ 4x for T1 color-ups)
20x 100 (+ 4x for T5 color-ups)
-------------
308 chips are all that's needed, bare minimum.

For a 400-chip set, (using 15/12/9/2 = T500 tournament stacks):
150x 1
120x 5
100x 25
30x 100
-------------
400 chips, which also includes the extra chips needed to color-up the 1s and 5s during tourney play.

To add to that 400-chip set so that it could also be used for a 1/2 cash game, you would want to add 200 more $5 chips.

Or, to instead also use it for a 25c/50c cash game, add 100x 25c chips, 50x $1 chips, and 50x $5 chips.

If you are playing micro-stakes cash games (like 5c/10c), you are probably better off changing the tournament set to a T.25-base (vs the T1-base set I listed) and adding 100 nickels and 100 quarters.

There is usually at least one monthly group buy for Tina's inexpensive card mold (and/or plain mold) ceramics. Some are for existing artwork orders only; others may include orders for new artwork.

Group buys for BRPro and Sun-Fly ceramics are far less common.

It's been a bit and I don't really keep track of what new members can and can not see forum wise however all of the group buys are here: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/forums/group-buys.26/ They are run pertty much non stop.

It's been a while since I was part of one, I was in the first one and then maybe the 3rd or 4th? really hard to keep track. At the time it was months to get them made and shipped over from China but international shipping was super delayed and that has improved.

There are threads like a comparison between other easily available ceramics and tina's:
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/cards-mold-ceramic-chip-comparisons.72320/

You REALLY should get samples of these chips to see how you like the feel of them. Send me a PM with your address and I'll drop some in the mail to you.

Cards mold is all neatly wrapped up here(including what art is available for use):
