Sad news that Rick Hoyt passed away today at 61. He was pushed by dad Dick Hoyt in the Boston Marathon every year. It was a thrill to see Team Hoyt every year.

Amazing father/son story. I first saw this just after my son was born. I broke down crying like a baby watching it.

Likewise, I remember reading about them and then seeing the Real Sports segments years ago, thinking if I could be even a fraction of the man his father was, I'd be doing pretty well.
