Post mockups for fun/science? (9 Viewers)

In the mockups, the silver looks better. I also realize I did 5k on the blue, rather than 10k.

Love hot stamps. Wish cpc had some more interesting options for stock denominations though. I can justify 1 die but not sure about 5!

So in my example, I'd have minimum 5x$50 for the dies?

Any chance @Gear did the mock-up for the CDI $0.25 label for you? I'd like to do a relabel series of these if I can find the right chip to do it with.
Hi mate,
No, all my own work. It actually isn’t the CDI art, but all new components designed to look similar. Casino de Bangalla.
Cheers

I don't think they can stamp anything oversized.
That’s too bad, but probably for the best. It would cost me another stamp charge. :)

If I do this set, I’ll just get inlays for the bounties.

I’d move the small text at the bottom down a touch. It gets very close to the denomination on the larger numbers
Yeah, for sure. If (when?) I go forward with this, the stamp will need some fine tuning.

I'm hoping the real thing is gonna start with some lower denominations!!!

hehehe, c'mon, not comfortable playing $40/$80 limit SOHE in my basement? :ROFLMAO:

Denoms would be ND (frac) / $1 / $20, but considering how chip broke I am at the moment, this is far from a real project, really just messing around. :bag:

Don’t worry, I’m getting more serious about my design, so my “help with my customs” thread will be appearing sooner rather than later. That’ll give you something to do.

I've been playing around with the idea of a custom set inspired by the beer from a local brewery. Each denomination represents one of their beers. I'll probably never get to do it because of copyright laws, but it's still fun to mess around with the design tool for hours. The 25c, 1 and 500 use current design elements from the packaging of their beers, the 5, 25 and 100 use old advertising artwork from the 50's - 70's. I'd be curious to know what you guys think, any suggestions on things to change?

Toying with buying a Rounders cash set, but don't like that the frac only has 2 edge spots (214) and all others have 4 spots (414). So I decided to mock up what it would look like if I built my own. I didn't want to change too much. The only thing I don't like on the original set is the pink spots on the $1, plus I would go with a $20 if I were to build a custom set. Kept the 25¢, $5, and $100 identical to the original.

Went with the most similar ClipArt photo of a grizzly bear I could find and threw this together in about 15 minutes. The design tool really is a blessing and a curse... struggling with the edge spot color on the $1. Retro Green looks best to me, and to be honest, the $1's and the $100's will never see the felt simultaneously ($100's will probably never see it at all), so I'm not really concerned about that. Backup color would probably be DG Tiger.

Really like the green-on-white. Good call.

My dream set. I'm a big Scorsese fan and I have always wanted a set that nodded to Casino or Goodfellas. Here's my Casino set. I'd like the inlay to shrink and come up a bit so the denomination can be displayed.

How about an inlay with a vectorized silhouette image of the mobsters from the Goodfellas poster, but instead of the "Goodfellas" text, replace it with something else, like "Wiseguys" or "Soldati"...?

Here's my latest attempt at Riverside knockoff set from CPC now that they have the scrown mold and tri-moon spot patterns.

I've determined they need a lighter brown (like a tan) and a light pink. Other than that I think these are spot on.
